Inclusion days: Promoting the inclusion of extraordinary children—children with Down syndrome, autism, quadriplegia and hearing impairments—cared for by the social centre for children with disabilities.

This project aims to enhance social cohesion in Ukrainian society by promoting gender- and conflict-sensitive assistance. Project activities include: (1) raising awareness of the need for gender- and conflict-sensitive approaches in humanitarian response, recovery and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine; (2) training and accompanying members of civil society and local authorities across Ukraine on gender- and conflict-sensitivity; (3) conducting peace and conflict analysis in targeted sectors and geographic regions to inform policy and strategy development; and (4) organizing analytical peacebuilding platforms (Peace Cafés) to bring together local civil society organizations; volunteers and veterans engaged in civic activities; local, national and regional authorities; and academics to discuss topics relevant to recovery and reconstruction in Ukraine.

Supporting a successful and inclusive legislative transition in Senegal.

The United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund for the Sustainable Development of the Brazilian Legal Amazon (or “MPTF Amazonia”) aims to support both sustainable livelihoods and the sustainable use of biodiversity in the Amazon. It does this by giving funding to UN agencies and Amazonian States to implement projects that: support sustainable and inclusive economic development in harmony with natural ecosystems; and improve the management of such issues as urban solid waste.

This four-year initiative (FY 24/25 to FY 28/29) – to be implemented by UNODC – will strengthen Ecuador’s capacity to prevent and combat organized crime, with a particular focus on strengthening institutional integrity in the port system and financial sectors. These focus areas have been identified as critical links to Ecuador’s safety and security to prevent the spill-over of organized crime into other jurisdictions. This project has been developed around three main pillars: Pillar 1 - Preventing and Combating Corruption Associated with Organized Crime in the Port System; Pillar 2 - Strengthening Ecuador’s Capacity to Prevent and Combat Money Laundering and Illicit Financial Flows; and Pillar 3 - Enhancing Regional and International Cooperation to Prevent and Combat Transnational Organized Crime. By enhancing Ecuador's operational and institutional capacities, this project will help to fortify the region against criminal expansion, reducing the likelihood of transnational crime networks impacting Canadian interests.

This project aims to strengthen inclusive governance in Vietnam, a key priority for the Government. There is a need for civil servants to be better equipped to deliver public services inclusively, addressing the needs and demands of all citizens, including marginalized groups. The project seeks to develop, pilot, and implement innovative, practical, and inclusive capacity-building interventions. It does so to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG) and modernize its public administration and leadership curriculum to align with international standards for effective and inclusive governance and leadership. The project also supports current and prospective women civil service leaders develop leadership skills and build network opportunities to better position them for future job opportunities in the public sector.

This project aims to enhance collaboration between Canadian and Singaporean organizations in deep-tech sectors like health technology and advanced manufacturing. It seeks to foster innovation, build capacity, expand market access, and promote knowledge-sharing, while building cross-border collaborations. Deep Tech Canada plans to bring 10 Canadian organizations to Singapore for a week-long program. Deep Tech Canada implements this project in collaboration with the Singapore Deep Tech Alliance. Project activities include: (1) delivering workshops on Singapore’s deep-tech ecosystem, visiting key innovation hubs, conducting exchange sessions, and organizing a women’s leadership in deep-tech event; (2) undergoing business development efforts such as business matching, workshops on scaling and navigating the Singapore market, and mentorship; and (3) participating in the Sustainable Innovation Asia 2025 event, showcasing innovative startups to investors and government agencies.

This project aims to address the challenges of socio-economic inclusion and women's safety in Tunisian medinas, particularly in M’saken, Mahdia, Sousse, and Kairouan, while integrating climate change adaptation measures and access to water. The project seeks to promote the socio-economic empowerment of women residing in the medinas by improving public spaces and strengthening the capacities of municipalities to integrate gender considerations into their sustainable urban planning processes.

The project's activities include: 1) online communication and awareness campaigns on the inclusion and engagement of women in the medinas, as well as strengthening the capacities of Tunisian municipalities to integrate women's needs into city governance ; 2) identifying local NGOs led by women to manage and animate rehabilitated spaces ; 3) creating products aimed at capturing, documenting, and sharing lessons learned, best practices, and impacts achieved during the first phase of the Femmedina Inclusive City Program, to demonstrate the importance of gender integration in public space planning and to enable the replication of the project's successes in other regions ; 4) training for municipal executives and staff on integrating a gender perspective into governance and urban planning, as well as knowledge and experience exchanges with other Tunisian cities and international city networks, including Canadian cities pioneering inclusive urban development.

This project ultimately aims to ensure high-quality, coordinated, and accessible multisectoral services for survivors of violence, as well as for women and girls at risk, enabling them to live a life free of violence in the regions of Casablanca-Settat and Fès-Meknès.

The project activities include: 1) Support for the strengthening of services for women victims of violence (continuing capacity building for institutional actors, particularly in the areas of positive masculinities and attitudes favorable to combating gender-based discrimination); 2) Support for civil society in assisting survivors of violence towards their empowerment and economic rehabilitation; and 3) Establishment of a pilot one-stop center to capitalize on existing survivor support infrastructure and strong commitment from all institutional partners.
