The building being retrofitted is a 100-year-old heritage building that contains asbestos . As such, the retrofits will drastically improve the building’s safety and accessibility.

Retrofit a community facility in Thunder Bay, ON that accommodates various ice and non-ice programs/events, with opportunities existing for hosting additional concerts, multi-sport games and championship events.

The City of Vancouver Central Library Branch has been in operation for more than 25 years. The current cooling systems are operating beyond their useful life. The City wants to increase the Library's energy efficiency and reduce the GHG emissions that the Library produces.

This project proposes to undertake a planning process to inform a future capital project to build an extension to the Friendship Trail to connect and extend through Mount Currie. The planning project will promote awareness of the proposed trail with a view to encouraging the use of active transportation in the community. The planning process intends on establishing community needs, determining the best route, confirming the asset management plan, gaining approvals and rights of way, and preparing the foundations for a future capital project. Full details of each project part are outlined in the budget & timeline attached. These activities are a requirement of the SLRD prior to initiating processes to secure funding for a future capital project to build the trail. The SLRD planning application is aligned with Líl¿wat processes and protocols.

New Indigenous health and social facility in Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation, SK to improve community health and access to health services such as dental, physical therapy, doctors, and mental health professionals.

The expansion of a Community Health and Wellness Facility in Yarmouth, NS will include an aquatic and wellness centre, multi-purpose spaces a ‘street’ community hub, as well as renovations and upgrades to the 20-year-old ice arena, and the addition of a new walking track.

Retrofit of a health and wellness facility in Tsuu T'ina Nation, AB to support environmental stewardship by repairing HVAC, upgrading building envelope and boilers, and installing a solar panels and enhancing accessibility by installing new concrete sidewalks with ramps for wheelchair access.

New multi-purpose community facility in Pikangikum First Nation, ON with daycare, social support, nutrition, educational readiness, and Indigenous culture and language services. The community centre includes multipurpose rooms, a stage and kitchen. The adult learning centre will have classrooms for GED certification and other business or trades training.

This project is the design and preparation of tender drawings and specifications for an estimated as 2000 lineal meters of trail linking the Beacon Hill trail to the Gregoire East Side Trail. It includes the development of a clay/dirt trail to a 3.0m paved trail with full trail amenities (wayfinding, benches, garbage cans, pavement markings, etc.) and connections to the local peripheral trails.

This project will allow for Greenways to engage the community and stakeholders in the trail project; assess walkability and bikeability of the trail, form the construction, fundraising and communications working groups comprised of the municipal and other regional key stakeholders.
