New public library in Kitchener, ON to support a new and growing community while also providing areas individuals to study or work, and for children to play. The site will have learning gardens, which are used to learn and explore the ways that food is produced and plants are grown, additionally, there are plans for a future greenhouse on site.

The project will meet very high environmental standards by reducing energy use by 76.7% and reducing GHG emissions by 95.2%. The project is also designed to increase the facility’s climate resilience and exceed accessibility standards. Funding this project would ensure that the 40-year old St. Malo Arena remains open for many years to come.

This Project seeks to reduce the risk of further erosion on the Fraser River bank, and in particular the erosion of the Matsqui Dyke, which protects the Sumas First Nation and the Matsqui First Nation downstream. The Project will use two types of assets to achieve this : the construction of benched vane spurs along the south bank of the Fraser River and the construction of several hard points at the existing erosion arcs, to prevent them from further enlarging. Once complete, the Project is expected to protect the dyke from erosion caused by climate change.

Retrofit of Indigneous community centre in Edmonton, AB to provide cultural, language and other programming to the local Indigenous community and to provide cultural education to the non-Indigenous community.

Purchase 2 vehicles, a garage and a parking lot to meet the increasing demand of the door-to-door public transit service for the communities of East Preston/Lawrencetown to Ship Harbour encompassing all of the rural communities between them in Nova Scotia.

This project will develop a shorthand cost-benefit analysis tool for active transportation investments, to allow policy makers and community stakeholders in Halifax to answer these questions. If successfully piloted in Halifax, this tool could be put in the public domain, allowing decision makers to assess the costs and benefits of AT projects across Canada.

Purchase an accessible 18-seat bus to be converted to electric and one EV charger to expand current transit capacities and increase access to everyday essentials for vulnerable populations in Lac La Biche County, Alberta.

A consultant/engineer will be hired to plan/design the community sidewalks and plan/design a walking/biking trail system that will connect the community to 711 acres of adjacent farm property.
The overall goal of this project is to promote physical activity and provide a safer/more accessible walking/biking environment for the entire community.
As a result of this planning and design project, future projects constructing sidewalks and walking/biking trail system could be connected to the community’s farm property.
Resulting construction projects would also contain various signage (in English & Mi’Kmaq language) showing walkers/bikers where they are on the trail to minimize risk of getting lost. Signage would also consist of some educational pieces about the area such as community facts/history, Mi’Kmaq culture, plants/animals & traditional medicines found in the area etc.

The applicant plans to create multiple multi-use/recreational trails to add to the City's existing Harmony Creek Trail. Furthermore, the City proposes to construct a bridge to be installed across the Harmony Creek to provide pedestrian and cyclist access between Esterbrook Drive and Arborwood Drive. It will add approximately 1km to the City’s multi-use recreational trail network, and provide a 3m wide, paved, multi-use recreational trail, and a bridge will be installed across the Harmony Creek to provide safe pedestrian and cyclist access. In addition to connecting to the City's existing trail system, the Harmony Creek Trail extension will provide an accessible off-road, active transportation route for residents to walk to a nearby recreation centre, schools, retail stores, restaurants and regional transit hub.

The project will create approximately 1km of separated cycle path on the Seaside Greenway connecting Balsam Street with McNicoll Avenue by: (1) repurposing a section of an existing multi-use path for cycling and adding a sidewalk; (2) widening and separating a section of an existing multi-use path; (3) adding 1 KM of new separated cycle path; and (4) formalizing a separated cycle lane on existing street right of way. The project will also add more bike racks to increase the amount of bike parking in the park.
