This 36-month project will address organizational capacity needs in order to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Specifically, organizational capacity will be enhanced through funding diversification; enhanced advocacy capacity; and, human resources capacity building.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: funding diversification, enhanced advocacy capacity and HR capacity building.

The extension in time and additional funds will be used to further build internal capacity by creating an Employee Onboarding Manual, developing a strategic plan for Governance and Operational needs, and designing a Client Record Management system to capture the organization’s outcomes and impactsA supplement is allocated to increase collaboration, networking and mobilization efforts, and to adapt advocacy and data collection capacities to the pandemic context.

This 49-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: board governance, HR management, and developing an advocacy and fundraising strategy.

In 2023, the organization received a supplement to develop branding that is more inclusive and representative of the mandate and population served and to further develop materials to support staff recruitment and retention.

This 36-month project addresses two interdependent objectives: scaling up Informed Opinions’ impact, and securing its sustainability. Project funding will eliminate current over-reliance on its founder; develop critical infrastructure; and, increase the organization’s capacity for proactive engagement in a disrupted media environment. Board and professional development, strategic and communications planning, and other targeted supports will help to significantly diversify and expand revenues through enhanced program delivery, increased fundraising and partnership development capacity. This will result in increased advocacy and impact to achieve equality for women as sources in Canadian news media.

Specifically, the organization will strengthen the effectiveness, sustainability and scalability of its work in order to enhance its ability to advance gender equality in sport and physical activity. Efforts will focus on marketing and communications; use of technology; mobilization of research and evidence; diversification of funding sources; and, strategic planning.

This 36-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Canadian Women and Sport to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. The organization will strengthen its effectiveness, sustainability and scalability of its work through a coordinated series of strategic capacity-building activities focused on: marketing and communications; use of technology; mobilization of research and evidence; diversification of funding sources; and strategic planning. This will enable mutual sharing with key stakeholders and further enhance their ability to advance gender equality in sport and physical activity.

This supplement funding will be used for the creation of a Knowledge Mobilization Model and an Organizational Strategic Data Model.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Informed Opinion has pivoted to deliver programming online and is bringing an online safety platform called the, Troll Patrol which addresses two of the three capacity building goals: to diversify our revenue sources through expanded fundraising capacity; and to translate this capacity into accelerated advocacy and enduring impact. The additional funding will benefit the project by allowing the organization to: map out safety platform architecture for donor presentations; develop case for support and build out donor levels; and identify and qualify 15 donor prospects.

This extension funding will be used to create and implement an equity, diversity and inclusion strategy, create an implementation plan for non-binary inclusion at a governance level, and design a business model for Canadian Women and Sport.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Informed Opinions has pivoted to delivering programming online and is developing an online initiative aimed at documenting and mobilizing a response to the impact of cyber-hate on women participating in public discourse. This "Our Digital Rights" campaign will address two of the three original capacity-building goals: to diversify revenue sources through expanded fundraising capacity and to translate this capacity into accelerated advocacy and enduring impact.

The additional funding will benefit the project by allowing the organization to: map out safety platform architecture for donor presentations; develop a case for support and build out donor levels; and identify and qualify 15 donor prospects.

This 37-month project will meet the organization’s capacity needs, allowing the Cultural Union of Franco-Ontarians to continue to promote social and systemic changes in favour of gender equality. Specifically, organizational capacity will be strengthened through the development of a well-defined mandate; improved governance; strategic planning, including a succession plan and an employee recruitment and retention strategy; a long-term financial health plan; and, a provincial partnership mobilization strategy, which will allow the organization to make changes that support Francophone women in Ontario.
