The development of a Project Implementation Plan to formally evaluate the Bridges for Women Society’s Métis & First Nations Women’s Program in order to increase the availability of trauma-informed, women-centric and culturally safe services as well as address gaps in supports to improve services for Métis and First Nations women living on and off reserve.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to test the effectiveness of the evidence-based intervention Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model on the population of women with complex trauma and a history with the criminal justice system.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to perform a rigorous evaluation of the impacts of the relational health approach developed by the organization to support healing multiple traumas experienced by homeless women.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to test the implementation of Community Advocacy Networks which are formal partnerships with stakeholders working on gender-based violence (GBV) issues, in order to deliver culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed and survivor-centric practices for non-status, refugee and immigrant women.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to test the applicability of a “Stay at Home” option for women living in rural areas who are experiencing domestic violence by allowing them to stay in their community near family, friends and support networks.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to test an existing healing program, Heart Medicine Lodge, as a best practice in supporting Indigenous women survivors of sexual violence and assault in rural, northern and First Nation communities in Manitoba.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to test and evaluate a decentralized model of gender-based violence support in order to create and enhance accessible, context-specific, culturally-relevant responses to gender-based violence within and across marginalized communities.

This 16-month project will examine the role of feminism and gender equality in Acadian communities in Atlantic Canada. Through the coordination of a Women’s Summit within the larger World Acadian Congress, participants will be mobilized to address the socio-cultural and socio-economic factors that impede gender equality for women within Acadian, Francophone and official language minority communities. Panels, roundtables and a large scale plenary with various stakeholders will allow discussion around women’s civic, democratic and economic participation in rural, urban and remote communities, and inform recommendations and a framework for a Gender Equality Action Plan for Acadian communities in Atlantic Canada.

The development of a Project Implementation Plan to test a Rapid Incidence Response approach to respond more effectively to incidents of violence targeting LGBTQ2S communities, by mobilizing resources, improving methods of communication and establishing a formal advocacy response when incidents of violence occur.

This 16-month project includes the planning, coordination and implementation of a large-scale women’s summit called: L’Acadie repensée: Le féminisme et l’égalité des genres en Acadie. RFNB will build upon the CMA's event which brings together Acadians from across the globe to host a women’s summit with feminist speakers and panelists, women in the political sphere, women Chief Executive Officers and various members of the media to discuss gender equality. During the women’s summit, the organization will address feminism and gender equality through different segments, such as women’s participation in civic and democratic life.
