This 70-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: board governance, strategic planning, partnership development, collaboration and networking, development of an advocacy strategy and organizational financial health.

Supplemental funding will be used to review, update and/or create more effective internal committee structures, administrative processes, bylaws, policies and procedures to further promote organizational sustainabiity.

This project will adapt, test and evaluate a multi-agency risk management model for survivors. The Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) model has been tested and rolled out in more than 250 communities across the United Kingdom (UK) and will be adapted to ensure it meets the needs of diverse Canadian populations. Following testing and evaluation in an urban and rural or remote setting, a flexible and relevant blueprint of the model will be developed and disseminated across the country.

This 46-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: strategic and succession planning; partnership development; and financial sustainability planning. This provincial project will allow EVA BC to continue to support and coordinate community-based anti-violence programs across BC.

The supplemental funding will be used for training, staffing services, improving capacity to serve clients and acquiring software.

This 46-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: development of a 5-year strategic plan that addresses administrative processes; development of an HR management and board governance structure to incorporate diverse groups; and increased financial sustainability.

The additional funds will help the organization to empower high school and young women, include indigenous youth and communities, inspire and advance women’s careers and leadership opportunities, connect the racialized and immigrant women in STEM and sustain SCWIST operational capacity and financial sustainability.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to engage Francophone and Acadian women’s organizations in Canada, become more responsive to the needs of its member organizations, and allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: developing and implementing a capacity-building plan; engaging in partnership development; collaboration and networking; and improving the organization’s technological capacity.

The additional funding will be used to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 limitations on the project by enabling the organization to implement the renewal of strategic planning and crisis management training.

This 46-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: developing a fundraising strategy through the identification of prospective donors; developing a customized membership and donor database; and developing a communication tool to support diversified fundraising.

The supplemental funding will be used to further build National Association of Women and the Law’s capacity to strengthen its fundraising and diversify its funding base while adapting to the current challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition period into which NAWL is currently moving.

This 46-month project is aimed at strengthening the organizational capacity of the organization and those of its members in order to allow them to continue to promote social and systemic changes toward gender equality. Organizational capacity will be strengthened through the following activities: the development and implementation of a capacity-strengthening plan, the establishment of partnerships, collaboration and networks, as well as the improvement of the organization's technological capacity. Furthermore, this project will strengthen the organization's capacity to respond more effectively to the needs of Francophone and Acadian women within the women's movement in Canada.

This 46-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality in the Northwest Territories. Key activities to increase the organization’s capacity include: development and implementation of a territorial advocacy strategy, increased training, and creation of advocacy evaluation framework and advocacy coordinator.

This 48-month project will test the applicability of a “Stay at Home” option for women living in rural areas who are experiencing domestic violence by allowing them to stay in their community near family, friends and support networks.
