This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Focus for Ethnic Women Waterloo Region Inc. to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality, through their work with immigrant, refugee, and visible minority women. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the strengthening of the Board Governance Committee, fostering partnerships and collaborations, and the development of a fundraising strategy, as well as a strategic and sustainable evidence-based 5-year plan for program development and delivery.

This 24-month project will address organizational capacity to allow Hiatus House to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced by strengthening internal Human Resources policies and procedures, updating the payroll management system to mitigate risk and improve recruitment and retention, as well as a website revision to ensure accessibility in both official languages through a user-friendly platform for the Windsor-Essex County community members and partners.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Huron Women's Shelter Second Stage Housing and Counseling Services to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of Human Resources policies and procedures, the adaptation of programs to incorporate evidence-based best practices and results-based management, as well as the development of sustainable fundraising, communication, and marketing strategies.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Kitchener-Waterloo Young Women's Christian Association to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of an advocacy strategy to heighten participation in existing advocacy events and campaigns raising awareness about gender based violence, as well as the establishment of a medium-term advocacy campaign, 'Woman Up Waterloo.' This new campaign will include community engagement, a sustainable fundraising strategy, and the collection and analysis of gender-based data to inform community programming and be made available through a newly created database.

Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: board governance, development of partnerships, collaboration and networking, diversification of funding sources, and organizational sustainability.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Nova Vita Women's Shelter Incorporated to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of a strategic fundraising strategy, strengthening Human Resource policies and procedures, fostering relationships with multicultural and Indigenous communities, and strengthening the organization's sustainability, in order to embrace diversity and inclusion for women and girls affected by violence.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: diversification of funding sources, organizational sustainability and development of partnerships.

This 27-month project will develop a strategic plan to reorganize and enhance the RECAF's organizational capacities. The concept of gender will be integrated into the organization's operating system to allow it to better meet the socio-economic needs of Francophone woman and girls of ethnocultural origin and contribute to gender equality.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of an organizational sustainability plan that includes partnerships building and a social enterprise model, as well as the implementation of technological upgrades to better support the expanded suite of services in fulfilling the organization’s mission to end violence against women and girls in the Waterloo Region.

This 48-month project will build the capacity of Springtide Resources in order to provide education and training to partners working to end gender-based violence (GBV) in the province of Ontario. GBV will not be eliminated without systemic change and equal participation of women in democratic processes. This project will support sector organizations to work with their constituents on civic engagement activities and policy analysis. At the same time, Springtide Resources' communication will be strengthened through a re-branding and communications process, as well as by strengthening board governance structures.
