The purpose of this Contribution is to provide funding for Specific key activities include the purchase and the installation of a CCTV camera system, an access control system, an intrusion system, a lighting system and window films as well as a training on how to use the new equipment.

Through this 25 -month systemic change project, TRANSFORMATION INSTITUTE FOR LEADERSHIP & INNOVATION will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. The project will address systemic barriers faced by diverse women to assume leadership roles in the film industry in Ontario, by challenging gender stereotypes and biases and advocating for the required policy changes. Specifically, the organization will engage and consult with diverse women film directors and the film industry to lead a needs assessment. Based on the needs identified, they will develop a collection of resources, disseminate these resources and engage with representatives from the film business and relevant policy makers to raise their awareness and advocate for the required policy changes to increase the representation of diverse women in leadership roles in this industry. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.

Through this 20-month project, York Region Centre for Community Safety (YRCCS) will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the need for financial resilience and diversified funding sources to enable YRCCS to retain staff and fulfill its mission to support individuals affected by violence and abuse. The project will include the development of a fundraising plan including the creation of a fundraising package and fundraising campaign for Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Awareness Month.

Through this 32-month systemic change project, L’Union culturelle des Franco-Ontariennes will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers experienced by francophone women within Ontario's agricultural sector. This will be done by conducting consultations on their experiences and the barriers they face; by creating a digital platform and mentoring system to promote Francophone women's leadership and decision-making power; and by training lenders in the region in GBA+ to reduce barriers to obtaining financing for Francophone women. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.

Through this 33-month systemic change project, Mothers Matter Center will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers within the existing system of traditional methods of skills and experience recognition, which can be inefficient and create inequalities, and enables testing an innovative, equitable and inclusive alternate model. The project will do this by piloting a barrier-free path for newcomer and low-income women to receive an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma and to become employed as an early childhood educator (level II) through a partnership with Red River College Polytech (RRC), Vametric, and Home Visitors (HV) at various HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Pre-School Youngsters) partner sites across Canada. The HVs will receive on-the-job training working as paraprofessionals in the HIPPY program, employer-provided and MMC-provided professional development training. MMC will facilitate the external evaluation and document the model. Based on evaluation findings and recommendations, MMC will develop resources for scale-up and dissemination.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Swan River First Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Black Bear Power Plant Project.
