This project aims to evaluate several products (e.g., condensed tannins, grape marc, saponins) for potential to reduce methane and carbon dioxide gas production.

The overarching objective of the Union Training and Innovation Program aims to strengthen apprenticeship training systems to better support a skilled, inclusive, certified and productive trades workforce by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of training provided. .The streams have the following specific objectives: .Stream 1 (Equipment) will increase investment in training equipment and materials for higher quality training, leading to a more skilled and productive trade workforce. .Stream 2 (Innovation in Apprenticeship) will support innovation and enhanced partnerships to address long-standing and complex challenges that limit apprenticeship outcomes. .Stream 3 (Women in Construction Fund [WCF]) will support projects that expand or replicate successful models to encourage more women to participate and succeed in apprenticeship and the skilled trades. Stream 4 (Trades Exploration and Experience Program) will support projects that encourage Canadians to explore, prepare for, participate and succeed in apprenticeship and skilled trades careers. This stream is limited to participants who are not registered apprentices..

Funding will support concept development to identify solutions to National Defence’s Challenge: Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (CUAS) Concept Development 2024. Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and its defence and security partners are seeking CUAS solutions that can detect and/or defeat Micro and Mini UAS with systems that can be integrated into the broader military command and control systems.

This project with the British American Security Information Council aims to finance the development and promotion of 2 new mechanisms. They aim to analyze and assess the level of transparency demonstrated by States Parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in their implementation of legal obligations and political commitments on nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

Contributes to the recovery of endangered, threatened, and other species of concern, by engaging Canadians in conservation actions to benefit wildlife and to protect aquatic species at risk.

The overarching goal (purpose) is to support enhancements in marine safety and marine environmental protection in Canadian waters, while embracing the concepts of codevelopment and sustainable economic development. The objectives are to enhance the capacity and facilitate the participation of partners and stakeholders in support of marine safety and marine environmental protection.

In collaboration with CORCAN a new programs building will be constructed and commissioned with associated infrastructure services. In addition, building finishes, furniture, and equipment will be procured for a turn-key programs building solution.Current inmates will also have the opportunity to engage in the construction of the programs building that reflect their cultural heritage and empowers Indigenous offenders, enabling them to build valuable vocational skills while maintaining a strong connection to their cultural roots.
