This project intends to develop an autonomous Flight Termination System (FTS) for Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAV) that operate beyond visual and point-to-point radio line of sight using integration of cellular connectivity into satellite-based FTS.

This project concerns the design and development of a novel UHF partial discharge sensor for monitoring medium voltage switchgear, bus bars, and transformers.

Equilibrium Environmental Inc. (EEI) has developed methodology to understand the risks associated with soil and groundwater contamination by nitrates and to model transport and assess risk to potential receptors. Receptors include plants in the root-zone, or human drinking water, or aquatic life, or livestock water from a dugout. We are developing and refining the software framework (Fertilizer Guideline Calculator), which can be used to generate Tier 2 nitrate/nitrite/ammonia guidelines and minimize environmental risk. We also conduct the bench-scale experiment to evaluate the site-specific denitrification rates. These rates help develop the most accurate guidelines to guide the soil and groundwater remediation efforts.

The purpose of this CanExport Innovation agreement is to support Canadian organizations to carry out activities related to pursuing opportunities that would lead to establishing new collaborative Research and Development (R&D) partnerships between the Recipient and foreign organizations in order to support R&D on the Recipient’s technology and advance its commercialization.

Funding will support the Montreal Climate Security Summit, a collaboration between Conference of Defence Association Institute, NATO, and the Climate Change and Security Centre of Excellence, aims to address Canada's national security threat to climate change through panel discussions, keynote speeches, and virtual participation.

The project aims to tackle climate change and the strategic importance of minerals in great power competition by analyzing Canada and African countries' challenges, focusing on supply chain governance, avoiding dependence, and environmentally responsible practices.

The project seeks to host a conference to address the emerging challenges in human security through innovative research and technology. It aims to leverage emerging technologies to enhance human security, a critical area given the changing global security landscape.

The project will demonstrate how integrating gender perspectives into military education can 'fast-track' the CAF into being more inclusive and welcoming to under-represented communities. The objective is to provide policy recommendations on how to implement culture change through military education.

The project aims to conduct an environmental scan and gap analysis to identify resources for CAF members with chronic pain, identify critical care gaps, and create a care roadmap.

Funding will support the development of an online course on international peace, NATO's role, and the Rules-Based International Order. Aimed at high school students, the course will build foundational knowledge of security issues from a Canadian perspective and may inspire further studies.
