The goal of the NRC-IRAP Interactive Visit to Mila project is to enable NRC-IRAP Industrial Technology Advisors (ITAs) to refer their clients to Mila's researchers and technical teams for expert coaching and supervision in the use of machine learning techniques applied to the client's products or services.

Participate in the development of new AI features integrated into the firm’s electronic medical record (EMR) as a machine learning (AI-ML) developer. Work closely with data scientists, the product manager, UX specialists, and the software architect to improve the clinical note writing assistance tool for healthcare professionals.

This project uses artificial intelligence in the form of machine learning and LLM's to fill in gaps in a data array of electronic component manufacturers’ part numbers using the intelligence built into the part numbers, knowledge of their parametrics and attributes to address incomplete groupings of millions of components.

Build a machine that can place lobster into a packaging net automatically. This machine would cut-to-length the plastic net, and wrap it around the lobster.

As the site's content expands rapidly, it is crucial to be able to deliver a more tailored and customized digital learning experience for each user. We are investing in the development of technology for innovative interactive delivery of our content while being able to more accurately recommend our content based on users' learning or teaching habits, attributes, and preferences, through algorithms from analytical data, and machine learning processes.
