Activities will include following the City's procurement procedure to engage a third party contractor to complete the project. Additionally City staff will work with the Atlantic Coastal Action Program (ACAP) to perform commissioning, testing and inventory to integrate these assets into our Asset Management Plan to perform lifecycle management.

Develop digital adoption plan

This project seeks to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from electricity generation and transportation. It supports Indonesia and the Philippines in meeting their climate goals, including their Nationally determined contributions and 2050 Net zero commitments. The project aims to support policies and plans that reduce emissions by electrifying transport, while developing strategies to ensure the power system can absorb the impacts of transport electrification without negatively affecting the financial integrity of utilities or the sustainability of power generation.

This project supports young women living in poverty in 3 major cities in the South of Ghana (Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi) and 4 surrounding regions through access to decent, dignified, high paying work in sectors. The project trains and empowers young women to enter careers in high paying trades such as welding, heavy duty machinery, solar installation, and automotive mechanics. It supports these young women by placing them in internships, mentoring them and awarding them scholarships. Also, the project supports them to find decent work in the private sector both in formal employment and as entrepreneurs. The project aims to build the capacity of 72 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes to deliver gender-sensitive skills training. The project also collaborates with industry partners to hire, promote and retain women in the workplace. this program leverages the unique spectroscopic and imaging capabilities of JWST to measure the chemical composition, velocities, and ages of stars across the disk of the Andromeda galaxy (M31) in a level of detail that has, until JWST, only been possible within our own Milky Way galaxy.

The objective of this AO is to support Canadian students to participate in national and international space conferences and training events that will offer them the opportunity to learn about and be involved in the latest developments in space science and technology, to develop their professional network, and in some cases, present their research results at the national and international level.

The Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto is contributing the primary science camera, the U of T developed “LUVCam” to the Czech National space telescope mission: Quick Ultra-VIolet Kilonova surveyor (QUVIK). The Dunlap Institute is granted full partnership and Co-I status on QUVIK, access to all data, and observing time on the mission. Graduate students, faculty, fellows, and staff are flying LUVCam on the GRBBeta CubeSat mission, which launched in July 2024 as technology development precursor to QUVIK. LUVCam will open a new path to low-cost, highquality space astronomy for universities and scientists worldwide.
