This project is intended to improve Thermtest’s Transient Suite of software by adding AI recommendations for experiment parameters and data analysis, two areas that have historically been unclear for inexperienced users.

Participation in the Canadian Life Sciences co-innovation mission to Japan – October 6 to 10, 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to explore the Japanese market and to develop international partnerships and potential project ideas under the Japan Program. In Partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service Canadian Technology Accelerator (TCS CTA), and Deep Tech Canada, the Canadian delegation will also receive support for their international business and market-entry strategies, as well as get introductions to other potential partners and clients during the mission.

This project aims to advance the firms production capabilities for innovative display and controller systems through enhanced design processes, optimized manufacturing workflows, and expanded ERP and drawing software functionalities.

Cognitive Systems Inc. (CSI) has developed and validated a unique technology for the monitoring and optimization of electric rotating assets. This technology has seen successful adoption for ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) operations in SAGD oil production in Alberta, Canada. The primary objective of this project is to leverage the learnings from this deployment and apply them to a new market—either targeting other electric rotating assets such as compressors or gas turbines, or expanding into new geographic regions.

This grant is to support the Manoomin (wild rice) project by Georgina Island First Nation in the waters surrounding Beausoleil Island. This project is a collaboration with Tri-Council communities (Beausoleil First Nation, Rama First Nation and Georgina Island First Nation) to identify, seed, harvest, monitor and learn about this important cultural species.

The Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) are meant to nurture the interest of the students and fully develop their potential for a research career in the natural sciences and engineering. They are also meant to encourage students to undertake graduate studies in these fields. Students who would like to gain research experience in an academic setting, these awards can provide financial support through the hosting university. NSERC encourages qualified Aboriginal students to apply to this program.

Canada Arts Presentation Fund - Programming Support

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to this local Hindu community organization to enhance their security. The population that uses the facility will feel safer from hate-motivated incidents/crimes following the purchase and installation of a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system, as well as training on how to use the newly installed equipment in their community gathering space.
