The project consists of the 2025 Canada-United Kingdom Colloquium, a three-day event in Montreal focused on the future of war. The colloquium will explore issues such as integration of AI and autonomous systems in warfare; the increasing role of intelligence and cyber operations; the resilience of multilateral decision-making; and the legal and ethical boundaries of modern combat.

Contributes to the recovery of endangered, threatened, and other species of concern, by engaging Canadians in conservation actions to benefit wildlife and to protect aquatic species at risk.

Grant awarded under the Participant Funding Program to Wanda Laurin to help prepare for and engage in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities related to the assessment process for the Peace River Nuclear Power Project.

Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon, Willow House is at a critical juncture as the demand for our essential services has exceeded our capacity, resulting in over 500 families being turned away annually. Recent provincial projections indicate a growing need for additional spaces in the coming years. A second RMHBC&Y, Willow House, will double the number of families we serve, allowing us to better accommodate long-stay families, who often stay for months and even years at a time. The new House is intentionally designed with studio, one- and two-bedroom units, kitchenettes, storage and other amenities.
This green and inclusive community project will create a new, fully accessible, 130,000 sq. ft. building for the public, adding 75 family suites plus, common indoor and outdoor areas. This net-zero project will enable us to meet the current and future demand for families by providing essential social infrastructure enabling equitable access to pediatric health care, and reducing the burdens faced by travelling families.

Youth development and implementation of a municipal records request platform, including functionality enhancements and AI tools to help automate municipal workloads.

The firm will explore and optimize various drying methods to produce microalgae extracts in powder form.

Participation in the Canadian Life Sciences co-innovation mission to Japan – October 6 to 10, 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to explore the Japanese market and to develop international partnerships and potential project ideas under the Japan Program. In Partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service Canadian Technology Accelerator (TCS CTA), and Deep Tech Canada, the Canadian delegation will also receive support for their international business and market-entry strategies, as well as get introductions to other potential partners and clients during the mission.
