The Short-Term Rental Enforcement Fund aims to limit short-term rentals that take away units from the long-term rental market across the country. This is accomplished by providing grant funding to municipalities and Indigenous communities with existing strict regulatory regimes to support the local enforcement of short-term rental restrictions in an effort to make more long-term housing units available in Canada.

The project aims to mitigate landslides in Whitehorse by realigning a roadway and flattening the slope of an escarpment.

Reaching Home aims to prevent and reduce homelessness across Canada. This is accomplished by mobilizing partners at the federal, provincial/territorial and community levels, as well as the private and voluntary sectors, and other stakeholders, to address barriers to well-being faced by those who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.

Contribution as part of the Indigenous Capacity Support Program to Nibinamik First Nation (Nibinamik First Nation Lands & Resources) to assist in improving assessments, policy engagement, assessment monitoring and follow-up activities.

Contribution as part of the Participant Funding Program to Métis Nation of Ontario Secretariat to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Timiskaming Dam-Bridge of Quebec Replacement Project.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Cadotte Lake Métis Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Peace River Nuclear Power Plant.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Tallcree Tribal Government to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Peace River Nuclear Power Plant.

The project aims to advance gender equality and the human rights of women and girls by strengthening Mongolia’s capacity to respond to gender-based violence. The project will work closely with civil society, the justice sector and government agencies in Mongolia to enhance their capacity to mainstream a victim-centred approach and implement systems of cooperation to combat gender-based violence. Activities include: (1) training delivered to primary advice and legal aid assistance providers to apply a victim-centred approach; (2) implementing public awareness campaigns with a specific focus on nomadic herder groups; (3) developing an operational model covering facilities, systems, processes, and information management relating to the specialized family courts in Mongolia; (4) implementing healthy relationship and life skills pilot program for adolescent boys.

This project aims to improve the agency of women and girls, including marginalized populations, to exercise their sexual and reproductive health and rights, in Malawi and South Sudan. Project activities include: (1) training midwives to deliver evidence-based, rights-based, gender-responsive sexual and reproductive health services; (2) implementing digital platforms with sexual and reproductive health and rights content on services and information; (3) training district health staff and community facilitators in a social accountability tool to identify service vulnerabilities; (4) providing midwifery associations with technical assistance on advocacy for the integration of midwifery services into health systems; and (5) strengthening women's health and rights organizations.
