These two biomanufacturing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facilities will be established to enable the production of essential Messenger Ribonucleic Acid (mRNA) vaccines, viral diagnostics and antibody therapeutic inputs at a large scale of up to 5000 litres per batch.

The project, located at 4250 Curling Street, Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, involves replacing the existing mechanical systems with one that will improve energy efficiency while meeting high environmental and energy standards. The Curling Club's facilities are available to the entire Acadian Peninsula community, which has a population of nearly 50,000 and an area of some 2,000 square kilometers. It's the only facility of its kind in the entire region. The Club's sports facilities are also available to all local school, college and university students, as well as to retirees and seniors.

Purchase of 2 transit buses, an on-demand transit software and smart card fare payment system, 2 accessible mini buses, 5 bus shelters, and 2 service trucks to expand and improve traditional and paratransit services throughout Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Located at 7888 - 200 Street, Langley, British Columbia, the Concert & Performance Hall at Langley Events Centre, will be built on the traditional territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Matsqui, and Semiahmoo First Nations. The carbon-neutral facility and multi-purpose venue will meet the rapidly growing Fraser Valley population's need for a modern entertainment and gathering place, supporting the Township’s Vision and Sustainability Charter. The Centre will be a regional cultural hub within Langley’s Arts, Sports, and Entertainment District (ASED). It will feature a net-zero building design that exemplifies energy efficiency and climate resiliency while creating significant employment opportunities. The Centre will host a wide range of events, including Indigenous gatherings, arts and cultural events, business conferences, graduations, music, comedy, and theatre performances. This multi-generational project aligns with the Township's commitment to provide community gathering spaces for Indigenous traditions and build an inclusive and sustainable legacy for future generations. The adaptable design will improve accessibility and provide socio-economic benefits for the region, fulfilling a long-standing community need and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Skuppah Indian Band will look at the community as a whole and make a plan that is inclusive, sustainable and future looking. Inclusively, with all members of the community, key challenges and priorities will be identified to improve equitable accessibility. A combination of in person information supported by technological data collection to create a visualization of solutions will be used. The plan will focus on not only the members but on the Lytton fire impacted community by planning for solutions to improve access between medical facility, food centre, evacuee housing, and employment. Also, currently because of the historic road style, the kids don’t have a safe route to school bus stops. Because it is a small community with limited funds, the plan will have phases to implement each of the proposed active transportation plan facilities in a practical manner, prioritizing the highest impact areas first. The demographic includes young families who lost homes in Lytton, as well as Elders who are aging in place. This plan will provide solutions to accommodate nonvehicle travel in the community.

The plan will address improvements to access of employment and education opportunities and the health care facility. Also, considering Skuppah is a remote community, the plan will look to reduce trucking in of materials, use recycled mixes such as Recycled Aggregate Product, and source local materials. Alfred, the Band’s plant and vegetation expert, will be incorporated to maintain the native species.

The Government of Canada announced $6 billion over 10 years in Budget 2024 for the new Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund to accelerate the construction and upgrading of housing-enabling drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste infrastructure, directly supporting the creation of new homes and increasing densification.

The objective of this Project is to conduct a Front-End Engineering and Design study to assess the development of a Waste to Energy Project in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.
