The overarching objective of the Union Training and Innovation Program aims to strengthen apprenticeship training systems to better support a skilled, inclusive, certified and productive trades workforce by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of training provided. .The streams have the following specific objectives: .Stream 1 (Equipment) will increase investment in training equipment and materials for higher quality training, leading to a more skilled and productive trade workforce. .Stream 2 (Innovation in Apprenticeship) will support innovation and enhanced partnerships to address long-standing and complex challenges that limit apprenticeship outcomes. .Stream 3 (Women in Construction Fund [WCF]) will support projects that expand or replicate successful models to encourage more women to participate and succeed in apprenticeship and the skilled trades. Stream 4 (Trades Exploration and Experience Program) will support projects that encourage Canadians to explore, prepare for, participate and succeed in apprenticeship and skilled trades careers.

The purpose of the Salmon Enhancement Transfer Payment Program is to enhance salmon stocks and their habitat through supporting hatchery production, public education, stewardship and engagement activities therefore contributing to salmon conservation, ecosystem health and sustainable salmon fisheries.

This project aims to enhance the well-being of women, men, girls and boys in the Sahel region by increasing the capacities of the Sahel Alliance coordination unit. The project will improve the coordination of donors and development actors who are members of the Sahel Alliance. Project activities include: (1) organizing the Sahel Alliance's governance bodies; (2) maintaining and developing relations between full and observer members; (3) contributing to structured dialogue with the G5 through high-level events; (4) producing reports and data to enable monitoring and evaluation of members' activities; (5) supporting coordination and partnership development in the field; and (6) producing content for the public to enhance the impact of the Sahel Alliance's key projects and themes.

This project aims to strengthen civic and democratic space in Benin and Senegal, for the benefit of citizens, in particular women and people in vulnerable situations (PSV). Project activities include: (1) implementing public engagement strategies and dissemination of public campaigns on issues related to civic and democratic space; (2) identifying training needs for CSOs, journalists and HRDs in methodologies and principles of gender-sensitive HR reporting, advocacy and communication techniques; and (3) providing technical support to CSOs in gender-sensitive security and protection.

The PS752 Commemorative Scholarship Program is a meaningful tribute to the 176 victims who tragically lost their lives in the PS752 flight disaster on January 8, 2020.

Pursue scientific research at a Canadian post-secondary institution as part of the Canada-China Scholars Exchange Program

Contribution as part of the Participant Funding Program to Long Lake #58 First Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Regional Assessment in the Ring of Fire Area.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Métis Nation British Columbia to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Rocky Creek Metallurgical Coal Project.

Pilot demonstration of carbon mineralization into waste steel slag for a typical US steel producer.

This project will assess opportunities or diversification and optimization in a forest products facility.
