Bonocle Tech plans to develop an adaptive braille learning application that provides an excellent educational experience and to develop the firmware required to enable Bonocle to integrate as an accessory with any operating system fully. This would allow for Bonocle to not only teach braille, but be used as a tool for accessing braille.

In this project Newfoundland Chocolate Company will conduct a full investigation of it’s current inventory and costing system and develop a new system that will be integrated and tested.

Application of AI to achieve transformational improvements in intrusion sensor performance.

OoC microfluidic devices replicate human organ functions in highly controlled environments, enabling precise and cost-effective research into biological processes, drug-disease interactions, therapeutics and much more without relying on human or animal testing. Our project aims to develop a user-friendly, automated OoC device and system that addresses existing challenges and limitations of this technology, with the goal of streamlining and accelerating scientific discoveries and innovation in life sciences across academia and industry.

The design of helmets has traditionally been straightforward with basic performance requirements. More recently, performance standards, such as for American Football, have introduced added complexities dealing with linear and rotational kinematics, a second order system for injury assessment and regionally weighted responses across multiple impact conditions resulting in over 70 degrees of freedom. AI is considered as a viable approach to facilitate helmet design and requires a tiered approach spanning material selection to helmet layup to ensure robustness and accuracy of the solutions. The current proposal addresses the application of AI to impact management materials to create a foundation for predictive and generative approaches.
