The Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) are meant to nurture the interest of the students and fully develop their potential for a research career in the natural sciences and engineering. To build capacity and expertise to support dialogue and deliberation on federal-Indigenous relationships related to the design and implementation of the marine safety system and environmental protection measures To foster the development of bilateral and multilateral relationships and partnership to support participation in the marine safety regime To implement federal-Indigenous or multilateral plans and agreements to facilitate collaborative management and partnership in marine safety and environmental protection To support the coordination of local and regional engagement to advance discussions on collaboration and partnership in marine safety and environmental protection

To conduct studies that guide the development of infrastructure and technology

To coordinate local engagement on marine or rail transportation strategies and policies.
To support activities and improve collaboration between Indigenous, local communities and federal stakeholders.
To facilitate the use of Indigenous traditional knowledge when decisions are made about the marine or rail transportation system.

Through this 22-month project, Intersex Canada will address the needs and barriers to equality for 2SLGBTQI+ communities. This will be achieved by: developing and sharing tools for accessible services for intersex individuals, building awareness to increase visibility of intersex individuals past and present and conducting research activities to understand the needs and experiences of intersex individuals.

Germany ZIM – GNOMIC - Develop a modular Guidance and Navigation subsystem for launchers using F-prime OS and a Liquid Injection Thrust Vector Control (LITVC) engine control system.

The focus of this proposal is an extensive on-orbit demonstration of the TIR imager capabilities including the performance of vicarious calibration demonstrations, a ground truth campaign, and the demonstration of TIR data products. In support of the on-orbit activities, EarthDaily Analytics Corp. proposes to conduct supplemental testing on an EM TIR imager to fully characterize the system and enable optimization of system performance.

The project is intended to provide supports for Indigenous offenders to successsfully exit the gang they are associated with, including help to navigate the administrative and real-world factors of exiting that lifestyle, to be able to provide meaningful sustanability for their ways of living, and to address the voids in supports that Indigenous offenders face due to intergenerational trauma and colonial impacts.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to:
