Altus Assessments, a company based in Toronto, Ontario is responsible for delivering CASPer test, a situational based judgement test, that allows universities and colleges to look at applicants holistically. We will use the NRC IRAP contribution to hire a new graduate to lead the development of a load simulator that allows us to understand and improve load (# of applicants that can be tested) performance issues during a single test sitting.

Ackroo acquired multiple competitor and non competitor companies and their products and technology in the gift and rewards and marketing industry in Canada. With this, some technology assets come with web console components. Ackroo already has its legacy original Program Console web application used by its clients, the merchant, to manage their rewards and gift program online and their customer base and a Virtual Terminal (VT) web application that is used for processing transactions for any internet and web browser enabled devices. As such, Ackroo wants to consolidate these management web consoles into a single web application that offers tools for program setup, customer and transaction lookup, a marketing/communication hub, and VT.

Foundational work to the development of version 1 of prototyped solution to automated video verticalization.

Power-efficiency is a key performance metric for the next-generation of consumer electronics, and is achieved by reducing the power consumption of device components such as input/out (I/O) transistors used in backend processes. Wide-band oxide semiconductors are prime candidates to replace silicon-based I/O transistors, due to its high field tolerance. Their efficiency performance can be further improved by interfacing the transistor's source and drain regions with a contact electrode materials that minimizes contact resistance. The goal of this project is to develop manufacturing recipes for a promising set of select contact materials to achieve ideal minimizes power dissipation and thereby improving power performance.

Development of a command centre application for simplifying and centralizing the management and end user experience of a geographically dispersed network of productivity centres and services.

Development of commercial product that is able to conduct autonomous lateral transfers in a CT Scan suite. Our self-cleaning device will allow a single caregiver to conduct transfers without risking infection from patients or injury.

This is a software project to develop the following two modules to be integrated into the Icelink product suite. Automated Aircraft Detection Component and Automated Aircraft Traffic Control Component.

This project involves creating an Online Sales Centre Application that helps people looking to purchase a new home from a builder the ability to browse, virtually walk-through, and purchase their new home – all online.

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, and the shift towards online home shopping, the Online Sales Centre Application gives people a safer and more convenient new home buying experience.
