The objective of this Project is Indigenous engagement and knowledge dissemination for renewable energy and grid modernization projects in British Columbia.

Two day gathering of Saskatoon Tribal Council staff and community partners to network with the theme of the gathering "Reconciliation: Through a Restorative Justice Lens"

The purpose of this contribution is to enhance the security infrastructure by purchasing and installing unbreakable windows, self defense training and First Aid training.

This project will allow all Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers members the opportunity to apply their lived experiences to shape SAR policies, so that they can meaningfully and fully participate as volunteers. This will create governance frameworks and provide education that will prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion ensuring a set of new policies and practices designed to promote volunteer opportunities for all people interested in search and rescue.

Through this 30-month project, Trans Wellness Ontario will address the needs and barriers to equality for 2SLGBTQI+ communities. This will be achieved by establishing a community consultation committee, delivering 2SLGBTQIA+ educational training for service providers, soliciting ongoing community feedback, and creating a referral pathway for 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive health and social service providers.

Through this 30-month project, Canvas Arts Action Programs (Canvas) will address the needs and barriers to equality for 2SLGBTQI+ communities, specifically trans and non-binary (TNB) students and staff in the Peel District School Board (PDSB) and Toronto District School Board (TDSB). This will be achieved by (1) engaging with the key populations in the relevant school boards to understand challenges faced by impacted parties, barriers to buy-in from decision-makers, and potential strategies for positive change, (2) developing and testing toolkits that build capacity to address discrimination against TNB youth in schools, and (3) evaluating the project and then sharing the results, recommendations and toolkit with school partners, contributors and community hubs.

Through this 30-month project, Timmins & Area Women in Crisis will help advance women's economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers that women, including those who identify as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, face in securing meaningful employment in male-dominated fields of non-profit leadership, the natural resource sector and the skilled trades. The project will include the completion of a regional needs assessment, the development of tools to address barriers to meaningful employment for women, and advocacy engagement with employers and institutions within the male-dominated sectors. The project will also include the development of a plan for an Empowerment Hub to provide a safe place to support activities that will lead to systemic change for women. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.

Through this 18-month project, Georgian Bay Native Women’s Association will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the need for processes pertaining to governance, financial management and continuous learning. The project will include the creation of updated bylaws and policies, the implementation of a new strategic plan with a Gender Base Analysis Plus (GBA+) framework, the formation of best practices pertaining to financial management, and the development of continuous learning and improvement processes.
