Through this 32-month project, Nisohkamakewin Foundation will address barriers to women’s success through systemic change to help improve women's economic security and prosperity in Alberta.

Through this 32-month systemic change project, Environmental Careers Organization Of Canada (ECO) will scale the Women Reclaiming Leadership in Environmental and Engineering Industry project to Canada’s Occean and Agriculture/Agri-food sectors. The project aims to address systemic barriers and promote women's representation in leadership and decision-making roles within these industries. To do so, the project will leverage the lessons and resources from its previous success, creating an advisory committee and conducting comprehensive baseline reviews and surveys to establish evidence-based best practices. An employer resource toolkit will be developed to assist organizations in implementing diversity and inclusion programs to support women's leadership aspirations.

Through this 32-month project, African Women Alliance of Waterloo Region will build its capacity to advance gender equality and address the multi-cultural and culturally sensitive gaps in communication among stakeholders such as mainstream organizations, the Waterloo Region Police Service, African cultural associations, volunteers, the government and the community. The project will include needs assessment, development and implementation of the multi-cultural strategy, developing a system for collecting and managing data for better decision-making, and design and dissemination of resources to address GBV within the African Community in Waterloo Region

With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, the African Women Alliance of Waterloo Region will begin implementing the GBV strategy developed during Phase 1 by 1) strengthening internal trauma informed systems and staff wellness capacity, 2) enhancing understanding of emerging GBV trends through youth and family engagement, and 3) expanding community engagement through empowerment tools, an online resource hub, and ambassador training.

Through this 32-month project, Coverdale Centre for Women will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address strategic planning and leadership development. The project will include strategic and operational planning to better guide board members and staff, and the development and implementation of staff training modules to address gaps in staff training and improve staff confidence in their roles, leading to improved organizational abilities to advocate and care for clients.

Through this 32-month project, Project Agape will build its capacity to advance gender equality and advocacy for survivors of gender-based violence. It will ensure their strategic direction meets the needs of their service users, and that their staff and organization have the necessary tools to deliver. The project will include: a community needs assessment and analysis, the development of a strategic plan, the development of training and materials for GBV support workers, and the development of a financial management plan.

Through this 32-month project, the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Alberta will build its capacity to advance gender equality.

Through this 32-month systemic change project, The Africa Centre will help advance the economic security and prosperity of Black women through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers within the settlement sector for Black Newcomer women.

The purpose of this agreement is to support the development of Canadian critical minerals value chains.
