The Firm is undertaking a modernization project to improve production efficiency and expand capacity for its premium end-grain cutting boards and wood products. The project involves upgrading equipment, refining workflow layout, and adopting lean manufacturing practices, all while maintaining the craftsmanship and sustainability values core to the brand. This investment will support rural employment in Cape Breton, enhance export readiness, and help scale a Canadian-made product line that celebrates responsibly harvested Eastern Canadian wood.

Develop a modular pediatric traction and positioning system designed to be self-supporting and operate with weights and/or springs. This system can be easily attached to various devices, allowing patients to change positions between lying down, sitting, and standing to maximize traction time. It is designed to adapt to children's disabilities and support needs, offering adjustability and adaptability. In addition, it incorporates a microcontroller with sensors to continuously measure the mechanical loads and stresses applied to the spine.

WOLF Advanced Technology Canada Inc. will develop a new generation of rugged, high performance embedded computing modules designed for use in extreme aerospace and defense environments.

“As part of the international consortium project “CIIP - UK Multisector - SALUS - Sustainable Autonomous Long-Endurance Uncrewed Systems”, this project will advance safe and scalable beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations for uncrewed aerial systems. Canadian UAVs will focus on integrating its Sparrowhawk radar-based detect-and-avoid system into long-endurance UAV platforms, conducting field trials, and validating performance against regulatory standards. The goal is to enable sustainable offshore monitoring, industrial inspections, and regional connectivity applications. The project will deliver validated demonstrations, regulator engagement, and commercialization pathways across Canada and the UK.

The project will support the development of an innovation plan to explore integrating AI into Booky's core business.

The Project will support the assessment of data quality and data sources for AI project development. The project may also characterize and document aspects of data for AI and Data Governance.

As part of the international consortium project CIIP - UK Multisector - E3D-RMC, this initiative aims to develop and pilot a scalable, eco-friendly 3D concrete printing (3DCP) solution using recycled materials. The goal is to construct sustainable, low-carbon modular housing units that address housing shortages, while showcasing advanced manufacturing through real-time sensor integration and AI-driven mix design optimization.

Development of an Artificial Intelligence ("AI") powered fashion recommendation engine that uses multimodal inputs to deliver personalized buyer-seller matches and enable smarter, real-time product discovery in the secondhand fashion market.

The project aims to develop a digital platform integrating generative AI to produce water infrastructure management plans that comply with regulations. By optimizing the maintenance and repair of municipal assets, the project will reduce drinking water leaks, prevent sewage overflows, and decrease associated GHG emissions, thereby strengthening cities' resilience to climate change.
