Through this 33-month project, Action ontarienne contre la violence faite aux femmes will build its capacity and that of its member organizations to advance gender equality. It will address the need to ensure the sustainability of services so that Francophone women and non-binary people in Ontario can obtain quality services in French. The project will include: 1- the implementation of fund diversification strategies to secure additional funding; 2- the implementation of a peer support and workplace wellness system to assist the integration of new employees and limit the risk of burnout; 3- the creation of a development plan for a provincial psychotherapy program for service users and workers in the sector; and 4- the development of resources and tools for the inclusion of trans and non-binary women in violence against women services in Ontario.

With the supplement funds and 12-month extension granted at the beginning of 2026, the Action ontarienne contre la violence faite aux femmes will carry out 1) activities aimed at strengthening the skills of boards of directors and executive management, 2) improvements to program evaluation capacities, and 3) the development of potential models for pooling services within its network to strengthen collaboration.

Through this 32-month project, Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the current and emerging needs and compounding issues facing girls, transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse youth in the community. The project will include conducting an environmental scan, developing a strategic plan, creating a measurement scorecard to evaluate progress, and establishing a comprehensive and integrated digital data management system.

Through this 32-month systemic change project, The Gender Equality Coalition of Ontario (GECO) will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers within the workplace by developing and rolling out a customizable IgniteTHEM toolkit that identifies promising practices and provides tangible tools for employers.

Through this 33-month systemic change project, Huronia Transition Homes will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers to economic security faced by women who have survived violence. The project will do this by engaging with a newly developed local network that will inform the design of a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) Framework.

Operating costs: The project aims to offer support services to enterprises in the downtown and southwest sectors of Montreal in terms of market diversification.

Marketing activities and site development: The one-off project aims to promote and set up a comedy festival for the 2024 edition.

Acquisition of digital equipment: The project aims to improve productivity and increase production capacity at a company specialized in the manufacture of metal components.

Acquisition of equipment: The project aims to increase the productivity and production capacity of a company specialized in waste management and sustainable development.

Operating costs: The project aims to offer support services to enterprises in the Capitale-Nationale region, primarily in terms of market diversification, as well as support for innovation and attracting foreign investment.
