The project involves adding a complete sidewalk on the west side of Racette Road for approximately 1,250 metres and rebuilding the sidewalk on the east side of Racette Road for approximately 1,250 metres, for a total of 2,500 linear metres. The sidewalks will be 1.8 metres wide. The project will have a total surface area of 4,650 metres squared.

The Project will complete Environmental Assessments and a Compensation Plan to provide the necessary data to advance the West Bay Connector Trail projects.
The Assessments and Compensation Plan are one phase of the West Bay Connector Trail projects to resolve long-standing pedestrian/bicycle commuter safety and fatality issues for pedestrian and bicycle commuters between the adjacent communities of Salmon Arm, Adams Lake Band, Neskonlith Band, and Little Shuswap Lake Band along the west side of Salmon Arm Bay on Shuswap Lake.

The Project will complete the Site Survey, Terrain mapping, Engineering design, Alignment and Costing for the West Bay Connector Trail projects.

The Project is one of the phases of the West Bay Connector projects to resolve long-standing pedestrian/bicycle commuter safety and fatality issues for pedestrian and bicycle commuters between the adjacent communities of Salmon Arm, Adams Lake Band, Neskonlith Band, and Little Shuswap Lake Band along the west side of Salmon Arm Bay on Shuswap Lake.

The Project will perform Traditional Use and Archeological Assessments to provide the necessary data to advance the West Bay Connector Trail projects.

The purpose of this agreement is to assist the Manitoba Métis Federation to participate in the Commission meeting regarding the Regulatory Oversight Report on the Use of Nuclear Substances in Canada: 2023

This project aims to bolster women’s resilience and adaptive capacity in the face of climate challenges, ensuring they are stronger and empowered.

With GAC’s support, Save the Children aims to address the essential health and protection needs of crisis-affected populations in the Afar region of Ethiopia. Project activities include: (1) providing material and technical support to local health facilities and operating mobile health units in hard-to-reach areas; and (2) providing safe spaces, psychosocial support, and case management services to address critical protection needs, including for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.

With GAC’s support, Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) aims to provide assistance to address the urgent needs of 111,958 beneficiaries in Ethiopia, Myanmar, Somalia, and South Sudan. This project focuses on improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities, essential shelter and non-food items (NFIs), and gender-responsive protection services for people affected by conflict, situations of violence and other emergencies each year.

Project activities include: (1) supporting women and girls’ safe spaces; (2) providing protection services; (3) conducting awareness-raising sessions on gender-based violence services; (4) providing WASH services, including dignity kits; and (5) providing emergency shelter and household non-food items to those affected by crises.

With GAC’s support, International Medical Corps, aims to provide assistance to address the urgent needs of 451,405 beneficiaries in Ethiopia, Lebanon, Syria, Ukraine, and Yemen. This project focuses on providing the essential health needs of crisis-affected people. Project activities include: (1) providing quality primary health care services tailored to meet the specific needs of women, girls, men, and boys, including sexual and reproductive health (SRH) assistance; (2) providing emergency mental health and psychosocial support; (3) rehabilitation of safe water and sanitation facilities in targeted health care centers serving crisis affected people; and (4) providing gender-based violence prevention and response services, including safe spaces for women and girls, case management and psychosocial support for gender-bases violence (GBV) survivors.

This project is to improve energy efficiency in Canada's Indigenous communities.
