The purpose of this funding is for Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation to participate in a site visit at Chalk River Laboratories with the CNSC.

The GNWT’s Department of Industry, Tourism & Investment (ITI) is receiving a non-repayable contribution to complete a two-year project focuses on providing training and capacity building to ensure that staff from Indigenous Governments and Organizations are well-equipped to understand and act upon the new Mineral Resources Act (MRA) documentation and regulations

Operating costs: The project aims to support an non-profit organization in its efforts to assist companies in the quantum field.

The Naha Dehe Development Corporation (NDDC), wholly owned by the Nahanni Butte Dene Band, is receiving $696,000 (80% of total project costs) to complete a two-year $870,000 project.

The Hay River Museum Society will undertake a $300,000 (38% of $780,313) non-repayable project over three years to relocate the Heritage Centre building to a higher and more stable adjacent site, rebuild portions damaged by the 2022 flooding, and implement mitigation measures to protect against future flooding.

The Nunavut Community Futures Association (NCFA), an Inuit majority-led not-for-profit, will deliver the Entrepreneurship and Business Development (EBD) program on CanNor's behalf in the Kitikmeot Region, under a three-year External Delivery Organization (XDO) arrangement.

Nunavut Fisheries Association (NFA) will run a two year project compiling research and data to be analyzed for the better management and practices when it comes to shrimping in Nunavut waters.

Sky High Valley Ranches Ltd. (operating as Sky High Wilderness Ranch) will purchase a skid steer for property maintenance and a side-by-side all terrain vehicle for guest tours on the property, as well as hire consultants to design a new classroom space and develop a five year strategic plan in consultation with KDFN citizens.  Traditionally, Sky High Wilderness Ranch has focused on active tourism with an emphasis on their dog sledding and horseback riding tours, however KDFN plans to expand this business into the cultural tourism sector, providing KDFN citizens an opportunity to share their history and culture in the Fish Lake region
