This project is strategically focused on elevating operational efficiencies through the seamless improvement of existing production processes. Emphasizing an enhancement of production flow, the primary goal is to synchronize these processes with evolving market demands. Special attention will be directed towards reducing overall costs and identifying innovative approaches to minimize expenses associated with the production of similar products. The overarching aim is to establish a more responsive, cost-effective, and agile operational framework in line with market dynamics.

Resolve Plastics Recycling Ltd. (“RPR”) is pioneering a recycling technology capable of converting unsorted, unwashed plastic waste (RICs 1-7) into a valuable building material (R-Blocks) in a single pass.

Piloting of a predecessor technology in New Zealand proved its viability and established baseline specifications for R-Blocks. A new process promises to increase speed by 10X and efficiency by 3X.

During the Project, RPR’s team will work with SAIT and the Centre for Innovation and Research in Advanced Manufacturing and Materials (“CIRAMM”) to design and model novel components for future fabrication and testing.

Results from the pilot will inform the final design for demonstration of an RPMachine capable of processing 3 Tonnes/hr.

This project focuses on meticulously validating and interpreting global, federal, and provincial regulations for their application in our software, specifically for managing hazardous and non-hazardous materials transportation. Following the successful integration of these regulations, our platform will analyze and calculate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics to assess environmental performance accurately. Using this critical data, we aim to uncover and implement opportunities for environmental improvement, reinforcing our commitment to driving sustainability and compliance within the oil and gas industry.
