Drift Golf is developing an integrated golf technology solution combining innovative hardware and software components. The hardware stream advances a wind-sensing device to provide real-time wind readings without moving parts, progressing from prototype to manufacturing-ready design through engineering optimization, testing, and production of 30 units. The software stream integrates comprehensive tournament management functionality into their existing SaaS golf course management platform, enabling courses to create and manage tournaments while providing golfers real-time features via GPS app integration.

Under the supervision of the engineering and measurements teams at Forsta Varme, the candidate will contribute to the development of a scientific instrument for the precise characterization of material thermal properties. The candidate will aid in the design of mechanical and measurement subsystems, through the use of computer aided engineering and hands on rapid prototyping. This project will support the hiring of this candidate.

This project will support the evaluation of AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency in marketing, finance, quality assurance, and operations. The project will focus on identifying and assessing proven, off the shelf AI solutions with the potential to enhance operational activities.

StrongBó Agritech Canada Ltd. is undertaking an R&D project to upgrade the interface and infrastructure of its AutoWeigher livestock monitoring system.

Teacher Time Machine is developing an AI-powered platform that empowers educators to create and share culturally responsive, curriculum-aligned teaching resources, adapting content to regional education standards and supporting both public and faith-based school systems. This project will pilot the platform to validate usability and educator impact, laying the groundwork for future development and commercialization across North America.

Despite decades of technological progress in agriculture—from autonomous machinery to AI-powered weed detection—decision-making remains siloed and reactive, focused on isolated, micro-level optimizations. This project introduces an innovative whole-farm decision-support platform that integrates agronomic, economic, and operational variables using advanced optimization techniques, predictive modeling, and intuitive natural language interfaces powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). By evaluating trade-offs across fertilizer use, crop selection, equipment timing, and risk exposure, the platform enables scenario-based macro-optimization—shifting growers from reactive to strategic, data-driven farm management for maximum profitability.

The Youth will be responsible for daily fermentation activities, specifically the production of recombinant food proteins made by genetically modified yeast. Overall responsibilities will include i) operating pilot scale fermentation at varying manufacturing volumes, ii) leveraging analytical methods for protein characterization, iii) managing procurement processes and vendor negotiation for unit cost reduction, and iv) maintaining records and SOPs in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
