This project operates in Bangladesh, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Peru, Ukraine crisis, Venezuela and Yemen. It also includes support for WFP’s Immediate Response Account.

This project funds the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to assess nuclear safety, security and safeguards at nuclear facilities in Ukraine in the wake of Russian attacks and occupation.

This project aims to increase the digital security and resilience of civil society and independent media actors in Ukraine in the context of the ongoing invasion by the Russian regime.

Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. This project supports the safety and continued operations of civil society and independent media actors regarding Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the region around Ukraine. This includes providing civil society and independent media actors sub-grants and technical support. . Project activities include: (1) relocating staff and operations within Ukraine or to neighbouring countries as needed; (2) establishing civic hubs within Ukraine and neighbouring countries to enable coordination and provision of mutual support; (3) providing institutional support to continue critical civil society and media activities, including countering disinformation; and (4) supporting increased physical and cyber security for civil society and media actors.

The objective of this project is for the International Grains Council to work on two topics separately, one on sustainability and one on Ukraine. Both topics would entail a series of webinars culminating in an in person IGC Grain Forum in London, UK on the margins of the IGC’s 54th Council session,

For foreign nationals arriving under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization Emergency Travel (CUAET) measures, the Canada-Ukraine Transitional Assistance Initiative (hereinafter referred to as CUTAI) is intended to provide direct one-time transitional financial support to individuals fleeing the invasion of Ukraine, following their arrival in Canada. The CUAET is a special, accelerated, temporary residence pathway for foreign nationals seeking safe haven in Canada while the war the Ukraine continues.

The project focuses on deploying experts to justice and accountability mechanisms in Colombia, Ukraine and other fragile and conflict-affected states to document and investigate international crimes, SGBV against women, men, boys, girls, (LGBTIQ+) and gender non-conforming individuals.

Funding will support an analysis of Russia’s motivations for conducting cyber attacks in the context of the hybrid war unfolding in Ukraine, exploring avenues for international and domestic prevention and capacity building.
