Develop customer-centric improvements to Tournkey's hotel management system

This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international co-innovation work. OES Technologies, an innovative manufacturer of process monitoring devices and sensors, seeks co-innovation partners to address quality issues in repetitive processes and reduce non-quality costs, while expanding into international markets.

The purpose of this CanExport SMEs agreement is to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for activities related to export market development that are part of an export business case for a specific target market, particularly where activities are targeting departmental priority markets and sectors.

The project aims to add seat belt anchorage and other tensile testing applications such as bollards, bolts, pipes, rods, chains, slings, etc. to our ROPS test station. These new tensile test arrangements would be designed with a set of reusable adaptors and jigs to accommodate different test specimens.

Battery Electric Vehicles that are being introduced to the market are heavier than their ICE counterparts. The increase in weight is causing OEMs to retest their existing CABS so that they can be recertified for higher vehicle weight ratings of BEVs. With this increase in demand for ROPS certification, we would like to be able to offer our customers the additional service of seatbelt and anchor point testing at the same time.

The Project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the Firm.

The Port of Belledune is embarking upon an ambitious transition to a green energy hub. As part of this initiative, they have committed to improving their environmental monitoring capabilities (Green Marine Certification) with a specific focus on underwater noise monitoring and linking to vessel traffic and marine life. SeafarerAI has successfully received funding support from the Digital Supercluster Horizon AI initiative to assist the Port with developing an underwater noise monitoring system that SeafarerAI can then commercialize with the purpose of selling to other Ports globally. Underwater noise has been identified as extremely harmful to marine life by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and regulations are planned for 2026.

Youth will be responsible for developing best practices and standard operating procedures for account management, on-boarding, training, and support for Lim Geomatics' Forest365 platform technology.

EMS is developing a suite of technologies for soil management and productivity. This project is related to new type of soil sensing techniques and plans to be integrated with their existing product. The identified youth with her Chemistry background and experience would add significant value to the development efforts moving forward.
