Beam line improvements to a medical linear accelerator simulator suitable for service engineer training

Plantae Environmental Inc. produces a range of plant-based fibre products that aid in the protection and environmental recovery of damaged soils in the mining, energy, construction, and public sectors. Plantae Environmental products act as a biodegradable soil reinforcement for soils while vegetation re-establishes and and provides some of the initial medium necessary for the soil rebuilding process and recovery to start. Plantae uses a unique refining technology that allows it to break apart a wide range of plant species into controlled dimensions that can be tailored to different applications. Plantae Environmental is already active in the pipeline sector with its hemp based products.

This project seeks to improve customer retention on the company’s specialized children’s streaming service. Retention is directly linked to customer’s use and engagement with the service.

There are 2 key drivers of engagement.

1) User experience while utilizing the streaming service.
2) Information and outreach activities that are meaningful and helpful to the customer prompting them to engage with the service.

The project will undertake a series of product and marketing experiments leveraging these key drivers with the objective of,

1. Improving customer retention at critical months where customer churn is most critical.

2. Increasing average weekly watch time on the service.

Lab 4 Inc. is seeking a contribution from NRC-IRAP to participate in the CETAC-WEST Conference in Banff, Alberta 28 April to 2 May 2024. The Entrepreneur to CEO Workshop gives environmental and clean technology innovators a fresh perspective on their business opportunities and commercialization strategies through peer-to-peer learning, networking, and mentoring.

Vize Labs will enhance its VIZEdi platform's EDI functionality by automation, accessibility, and engagement to expand Vize's market reach and cater to a broader audience.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Software Developer will be responsible for designing, writing, reading, and correcting code to create new software that aligns with organizational requirements. The role involves the development, troubleshooting, analysis, and testing of software programs. Additionally, the Software Developer contributes to the enhancement and ongoing refinement of AV Gauge and Fixture/Automation applications, playing a key role in the continuous improvement of these applications.

This project will enable the firm to carry out development activities on the transformation of its polymer concrete formulations and wall-sealing plasters, in order to reduce emissions of volatile organic compounds.

Development of a software for managing mushroom farm's production, inventory and sales.

The engineering account manager will be tasked with supporting Reserve Plus's existing clients with training, demo, and using the software on their behalf in order to drive value for the existing customer base (500+ condo corps / 20,000 doors). The goal will be drive value and in turn grow the existing accounts through technical support and relationship building activities.

KILO is a modular software platform consisting of several features and applications that facilitate machine-assisted conditioning, enrichment, and management of mission-critical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Full Motion Video (FMV) to ensure attached metadata is correct and standardized facilitating technical and operational interoperability from the tactical edge, backwards, and up.
