We will develop and implement a new in-house Ig-Sequencing platform that can be integrated with our proteomics tools to fully assess immune responses in rabbits.

Through this project, we will further integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into our processes through the development of automated web scrapers, alongside the use of bots, to capture the available Canadian and U.S. funding-related data in a less manual way, while building out the capabilities of our database to uncover and maintain government funding data in a way that improves our ability to service our clients well while expanding our operations into more Canadian markets and enter the United States. To achieve these goals, we will hire an experienced Data Engineer and Information Analyst, bolstering the expertise of our existing data and software teams.

Development of Official Language Communities Program

Build the capabilities to run generative design in BIM through the research and development of a parametric software toolkit. We can leverage this strategy to rapidly generate design solutions, reducing the time and cost of projects.

CORE Linepipe’s R&D efforts are focused on technology advancements necessary to better serve emerging markets for carbon capture and storage, hydrogen infrastructure, potable and waste water. We have identified two specific initiatives that we believe will open up these markets for us:
• Initiative 1) Field 2.0
o to reduce the cost of installation to make CORE products more cost competitive in these markets
• Initiative 2) Continuation of 10” and 12” product development
o to increase the CORE product offering into the larger diameters required in these emerging markets.

It is important to develop emission-free technology to replace oil-based Nylon 6,6. Within the OzoneBio we developed unique “Zombie cells” approach that allows us to convert wood-derived phenolic compounds into adipic acid at high rates.

The expected outcome of this project is to deliver a sustainably sourced skin foundation and lipstick products comprised of upcycled functional ingredients that provides our customers with multiple performance benefits, such as anti-pollution, anti-aging, and sun protection performance.

As a part of our growth trajectory, we will need to expand our support functions including Finance. We are looking for am accountant/generalist (with some basic bookkeeping experience) with the technical aptitude to help us implement new processes and systems. Having a strong background and understanding of general accounting principles will be key for any qualified candidates. We are willing to train and support as needed assuming this foundational background (education/training) is present.

This will be an extension of our previous IRAP grant (2019-2020) which involved building our internal AI NLU tool (called Mavin).
In this project, we will focus on enhancing Mavin with greater predictive and insight-generation capability as well as building the bridge between Mavin and human-powered curation.

This project is part of upstream discovery research to help develop plant breeding phenotyping and genotyping methodologies to aid in future diversification of cannabis-based medicines leading to pre-clinical testing.
