The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:

• To enhance the application of health promotion approaches to public health emergency preparedness and response in Canada by supporting research aligned with the research opportunities identified in the CPHO’s Generating Knowledge for a Health Promotion Approach document.
• To foster links between health promotion and emergency management researchers, knowledge users and decision-makers to strengthen the capacity for public health systems in Canada to prepare for and respond to public health emergencies.
• To strengthen research excellence and ensure maximum impact through consideration of equity, diversity and inclusion and Indigenous Rights, where applicable, in study populations, research and knowledge mobilization approaches, research teams and knowledge users.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:

• Produce evidence on the implementation, evaluation, spread and/or scale of promising equity-focused solutions that strengthen the health workforce as a key component of advancing the Quadruple Aim and health equity.
• Build capacity and catalyze strong, interdisciplinary, and interprofessional research teams working to support a healthy, resilient, diverse, and equitable, health workforce.
• Spark collaborations that build and/or strengthen co-design and partnerships between researchers, the health workforce, and policy and decision-makers with a shared goal in supporting evidence-informed workforce solutions.
• Foster knowledge mobilization to inform timely uptake and maximize impact of the research by identifying effective and sustainable solutions.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:
• To provide recognition and funding to academic health research trainees;
• To provide a reliable supply of highly skilled and qualified researchers.

• to support dissemination events and activities that focus on the communication of health research evidence to the appropriate researcher or knowledge-user audiences, tailoring the message and medium as appropriate.

The Canada Graduate Scholarships – Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplements (CGS-MSFSS) Program supports high-calibre Canadian graduate students in building global linkages and international networks through the pursuit of exceptional research experiences at research institutions abroad. By accessing international scientific research and training, CGS-MSFSS recipients will contribute to strengthening the potential for collaboration between Canadian and foreign institutions.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:

• To strengthen the integration, uptake, deployment and/or scale-up (spread) of evidence-based solutions (i.e., programs, services, policies, diagnostics, therapeutics, technologies, devices) that directly benefit women’s health, and that improve their access to and experience within the health care system.
• To foster knowledge mobilization activities throughout the research process to expedite the transfer of knowledge, support improvements, and inform local adaptation, implementation, and adoption of evidence-based solutions for women’s health at the community and/or population level.

The NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines (the Chamber) will host the Canada North Pavillion at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Annual Conference each year from 2025 to 2027.  The Chamber will arrange and contract with the conference in order to host the Canada North Pavillion, Coordinate with Northern Partners across the three territories
