This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international co-innovation work.

As part of the international consortium project “An Implementation of An Elders’ Living Support System based on Social Conversational Agents and Smart Activity Monitoring”, this project will focus on developing and integrating the noted modules into the GRTHealth production system, and deploying it in a real-world environment to collect valuable information that can be evaluated by the educational partners, and to better understand the value of the modules in improving the health and safety, as well as the quality of life, for seniors living with frailties in the community.

This project will fund the professional expertise to trial an innovative deployment design and demonstrate that Bivalve aquaculture is feasible in the deep water high tidal range of the Bay of Fundy.

The goal of the NRC-IRAP Interactive Visit to Mila project is to enable NRC-IRAP Industrial Technology Advisors (ITAs) to refer their clients to Mila's researchers and technical teams for expert coaching and supervision in the use of machine learning techniques applied to the client's products or services.

Proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers (PEMWE) use renewable energy for efficient and sustainable green hydrogen production. Developing resilient and low-cost PEMWE components is imperative to lower the green hydrogen cost. The PEMWE uses a membrane to transport ions between the anode and cathode, while preventing the intermixing of hydrogen and oxygen. However, the membrane is susceptible to degradation, consequently resulting in membrane thinning and gas crossover, leading to unsafe operation and shutdown. The Project leverages a collaboration between NRC and Simon Fraser University (SFU) to improve the fundamental understanding of PEMWE membrane degradation and failure. The Project will develop and utilize a novel approach for in-situ and -operando X-ray computed tomography to visualize the PEMWE and facilitate diagnosis of membrane failure mode, degradation mechanism, and root cause. The NRC-SFU research collaboration anticipated outcomes will foster rapid technological advancement and translate the technology for industrial application.

As Stitch Media's Unity Game Developer, the Youth will be responsible for developing new features for our upcoming virtual reality (VR) and mobile video-game ‘Elsewhere Electric’. Elsewhere Electric is an asymmetric game for two players: one in VR, one on a mobile phone.

This project will help us hire a new team member to help us scale our technology. Supporting market research and technical task to help us grow.
