Undertake product and business development activities to accelerate revenue growth

The purpose of this funding is for Yathi Nene Land and Resources to Co-present with the CNSC at the Turtle Island Indigenous Conference in May 2024.

Canada's Fisheries Fund will transform and drive innovation in the fish and seafood sector in Canada with a focus on developing the sector to better meet growing market demands for sustainably sourced, high-quality fish and seafood products.

CARTAC works to build the capacity of governments across 23 Caribbean countries and territories to strengthen their institutional and human capacity to design and implement sound macroeconomic policies to promote growth and reduce poverty. The project aims to achieve these objectives through delivery mechanisms such as providing capacity development and training by long-term experts based in the region and short-term advisory assignments, in-country workshops, and regional training seminars.

The purpose of this CanExport Associations contribution agreement is to support organizations and ultimately aims to increase the competitiveness of Canadian companies, in the international marketplace, on a sectoral basis, thereby contributing to Canadian prosperity and the growth of the Canadian economy. This financial support enables the recipient to undertake new or expanded international business development promotion activities, in a given sector, for the benefit of its entire industry (member and non-member firms).

Our current project is a continuation of the work done during Cheslatta Carrier Nation's earlier digitization efforts. Through Library and Archives Canada's Listen, Hear Our Voices initiative, those efforts successfully digitized 185 VHS tapes, 82 cassettes, 713 historical maps, 1 452 photographs, and over 82 000 pages of archival documents. The continued digitization of this collection will help ensure the sustainability of Cheslatta peoples' oral and written history, as well as the documented relationship we have with our land.
