Orders are strong and there is an increased demand for production staff.

We believe putting resources towards this area is critical and a key to keep up with demand for our products.

In consultation and through design iteration with our industry partners, Smarter Alloys has determined that a defining characteristic for actuators in this space is to function at temperatures greater than 80C. We have identified a ternary alloy that allows for the mechanical properties desired within this space.

We are developing a new style of container to ship tuna, swordfish, etc to foreign markets.

API Labs Inc. is creating a vertically integrated poppy industry in Canada. First, we develop poppies for the foods market. Then, once food poppy use has been established, API will develop a domestic plant production line for the relevant lines of poppy based pharmaceuticals.

We have several openings for grad developers that can help us build new features for our products and client projects. Also will need to contribute code and knowledge back to the Open Source Islandora community. We have a number of exciting projects currently planned or underway including the development of large-scale migration and ingest tools, several new SaaS products, serverless refactoring of key stack components, integration of AI/ML components from AWS, and more.

The Woodland Cultural Centre’s Dwadwęnaga:da:t Language Centre is a member of Sweetgrass First Nations Language Council Inc. (Sweetgrass), which is an incorporated organization made up of members from Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek language groups, schools and centres across Ontario. Sweetgrass members have identified a need for a series of virtual workshops in the areas of archiving, digitization and audiovisual collections management, tailored specifically to the preservation of sacred and sensitive First Nations language collections.

In addition, the Dwadwęnaga:da:t coordinator has identified a collection of 110 audiocassettes that is a high priority for digitization. These cassettes recorded in the background during the original recordings of our Sacred and Sensitive Collection from 1986 to 1988. These tapes, the only existing copies of these recordings, contain high levels of language and provide vital context for the Longhouse materials, making them indispensable for the next generation of Faithkeepers to access.

In this specific project HMR will focus on verifying and testing different software packages that we developed in terms of their compliance with the standard software development for medical devices, including the motion generation, balancing, and firmware of various PCBs we developed.

At Fourien, we are developing technologies to introduce automation in instrumentation, data analytics and robotics.
