The objectives of the project include mapping the velocity structure of the swirl, comparing it with state-of-the-art MHD simulations, measuring the black hole's mass, examining Bondi accretion, probing radio jet interactions, and searching for hidden cooling flows.

It has been long believed that such accreting SMBHs play a significant role in shaping the evolution of their host galaxies, yet the exact mechanisms remain largely shrouded in mystery. This project will map, for the first time, the physical conditions of the gas around the central SMBH and reveal its impact on the host galaxy.

The purpose of this project is to strengthen the participation of Indigenous entities in capturing and sharing wildfire knowledge and developing of tools and resources.

Thetis Environmental has developed a novel 3D spatial membrane that provides superior productivity, improved membrane strength and durability, and reduced energy consumption in the high strength, high suspended solids water treatment market. The 3D membrane will be implemented in Thetis’ patented PermaFlux™ technology for this market. The new PermaFlux™ XL module (with 3D membranes) increases membrane active surface area and further decreases cost and system complexity.

FLFNs will use planning and design funds to be able to conduct further community engagement on this initiative, including community mapping and design priorities, and undertake the necessary design work needed to ensure viability and determine cost of the project based on this engagement.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase Canadians' access to flood hazard information and maps in order to make informed decision-making related to flood mitigation, land use planning and prevent costly impacts of flood.
