BuildBase proposes to develop a Procurement Automation Module to streamline the sourcing, purchasing, supplier and contract management, and cost change processing needs of homebuilders. This module will integrate seamlessly with existing BuildBase ERP modules and automate procurement workflows to reduce cycle times, improve accuracy, and enable near-real-time decision-making. The end-to-end system will empower builders with data-driven tools and automation that replace manual tracking and vendor communication with a modern procurement solution.

The Project will support pilot testing of AI strategies, determine target architecture and quantitative technical objectives for implementation of an AI solution that supports the natural language description of a query to a reporting database.

We are transforming our EMM system from traditional infrastructure to a fully cloud-native architecture, leveraging best practices such as Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), declarative infrastructure (Crossplane), microservices, and observability. Using high-performance components including Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, ZincSearch, and EMQX, our platform will deliver extreme scalability, low latency, and massive device/data handling to meet the demanding needs of global IoT deployments.

The project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the firm.

To transform the treatment of inguinal hernias, Firm has developed a novel implantable hernia repair device. To complete safety and efficacy evaluations of the device, Firm intends to validate the manufacturing approach of the current prototype. Firm plans to contract an established nitinol medical device manufacturer to produce prototype units of the device. These commercial-grade units will be used in preclinical animal testing studies, and manufacturing validation data will be collected for attracting investment and preparing a regulatory submission. This project will directly advance the development of a novel hernia repair device.
