Cobalt Construction Inc. (Cobalt) will receive non-repayable funding to support the implementation of their “Improve Efficiency & Resilience - 3D Grade Control Investment” project.

LunaPure is an entirely self-sustained system that relies on the controlled application of natural elements of the lunar environment to convert dirty lunar ice into drinkable water.

The specific objective(s) of this funding opportunity are to:

• Support Knowledge Sharing activities (WSC: #moreinformation) from ongoing or recently completed, community-engaged research projects that aim to improve the wellness of Indigenous Peoples in Canada from a gendered perspective, including how Indigenous concepts of gender affect wellness;
• Promote the use of culturally relevant Knowledge Sharing activities and approaches (WSC: #moreinformation) and/or arts-based methods (WSC: #moreinformation), among other possible Knowledge Sharing approaches, to share learnings about Indigenous Gender and Wellness;
· Encourage strengths- and distinctions-based Knowledge Sharing that will build lasting relationships and improve shared learning and understanding, application, and opportunity to increase wellness for Indigenous individuals and communities using a gendered lens;
• Bridge capacity (WSC: #moreinformation) of the next generation of Indigenous health researchers and community partners in Knowledge Sharing focused on Indigenous Gender and Wellness;
• Support the evaluation of Knowledge Sharing activities and approaches, to support ongoing learning with the goal to improve the wellness of Indigenous Peoples in Canada from a gendered perspective, including how Indigenous concepts of gender affect wellness

The workshops provide safe spaces for interaction, learning and community building, and offer validation, reassurance and comprehensive support to all participants.

Animikii Inc is an Indigenous Organization that provides website services and maintenance and was used to develop and host the Gladue Principles Website (a site used by Indigenous Courtworkers to share information and learn about Gladue Sentencing Principles). This project will enable the current English only website to expand and accommodate French content.

The voucher funding program aims to de-risk business opportunities for Canadian rural and northern SMEs by connecting them with academic expertise to foster collaboration and R&D capacity. The program prioritizes inclusivity, supporting Indigenous-owned and led businesses, as well as those owned and led by women and other equity-deserving groups. It addresses systemic barriers these businesses face in accessing researchers and resources, aiming to level the playing field and expand participation through targeted outreach and partnerships. Activities include webinars, training sessions, and structured meetings to facilitate collaboration and innovation, while ensuring efficient program management and reporting. Quantified targets aim to enhance engagement and measure impact, supporting the development of professional Research and Development Statements of Work and advancing scopes of work to full-scale research projects

Molded Precision Components (MPC) is initiating an AI Implementation Initiative focused on identifying and piloting artificial intelligence (AI) applications that can drive operational efficiency and production quality in its advanced manufacturing processes

The data will be integrated into the NRC platform, standardized, and analyzed using statistical and machine learning approaches to identify pollution trends and comparisons.

Advanced techniques like machine learning and statistical inference will be used to analyze the data, starting with GI diseases.

Develop an automated Design for Manufacturability (DFM) system tailored for CNC machining of prismatic parts.
