Airdrop has the potential to expand the reach of autonomous aircraft delivering time-critical cargo. However, autonomous airdrop requires advanced navigation and control systems to deliver goods safely and accurately. In this project, Ribbit is developing airdrop navigation and control software that delivers new capabilities on top of its existing autonomous stack.

The project will test AI strategies for agricultural crops.

This project aims to develop and validate a novel platform for laser-assisted targeted drug delivery using LMI's proprietary picosecond mid-infrared laser technology. This technology enables precise ablation of tissues and when coupled to a microfluidic drug channel, the optic probe can deliver localized therapeutics with high resolution and minimal invasiveness. LMI holds foundational IP specific to this application covering fiberoptic laser-drug delivery systems in addition to the original core IP portfolio covering the unique laser tissue interaction. The platform will be validated in, phantom tissue, ex vivo and animal models, focusing on applications in high-value organ systems: prostate, brain, lung, and pancreas.

Drift Golf is developing an integrated golf technology solution combining innovative hardware and software components. The hardware stream advances a wind-sensing device to provide real-time wind readings without moving parts, progressing from prototype to manufacturing-ready design through engineering optimization, testing, and production of 30 units. The software stream integrates comprehensive tournament management functionality into their existing SaaS golf course management platform, enabling courses to create and manage tournaments while providing golfers real-time features via GPS app integration.

This project involves designing a custom pediatric walker to integrate with Trexo Robotics’ exoskeleton. It includes developing mechanical, electrical, and software enhancements that can benefit both current and future product configurations.

In-house capability to produce two integrated microfluidic discs (Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay) that meet required specifications and reproducibility.

The objective of this project is to research, design, and validate the next generation of Firm's integrated platform for laundry management and partner enablement. This will involve advancing the technical architecture to achieve high scalability, fault-tolerance, automation of mission-critical workflows, multi-location operational control, and advanced performance analytics. The resulting system will serve as the technical foundation for future innovations including AI-driven customer segmentation, dynamic pricing algorithms, image recognition for item classification, and predictive demand forecasting - enabling LaundryWell to maintain a leadership position in Canada and expand into new global markets.

Winboxer is an innovative personalized and secure email visualization and management tool designed to transform email experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to reduce spam and known malware while increasing user’s productivity. In addition to safely channel legitimate emails, this tool provides real-time cyber threat intelligence by detecting phishing emails and business emails compromise (BEC) exploits by scanning inboxes, quarantining nefarious and suspicious emails by visually depicting them as harmful to prevent reflex engagement. Winboxer delivers advanced and comprehensive analytics and offers actionable recommendations to manage emails efficiently while reducing spams.

Under the supervision of the engineering and measurements teams at Forsta Varme, the candidate will contribute to the development of a scientific instrument for the precise characterization of material thermal properties. The candidate will aid in the design of mechanical and measurement subsystems, through the use of computer aided engineering and hands on rapid prototyping. This project will support the hiring of this candidate.
