DriveABLE is adapting its cognition assessment technologies into a simple, accessible, and most importantly mobile-friendly pre-screening cognitive evaluation tool. In conjunction with the neuroscience and machine learning departments of the University of Alberta, DriveABLE has been working to validate its scoring platform for use in a mobile application (called CARE App). DriveABLE must also develop an adaptive IT and back-end platform. It will manage data that will be processed through machine learning algorithms that continuously validate and improve the accuracy of the mobile cognition evaluations. The mobile platform is expected to be commercialized once the data and machine learning infrastructure is established.

This project involves the development and implementation an innovative cross-asset multi-optimization algorithm to allow infrastructure organizations build global optimal asset renewal plans and optimally allocate capital and operational budget among different asset classes. The project will also will build on work done to date to transform IDS’ software into a scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly software-as-a-service (SaaS) system.

Vieworx will be developing an automated calibration process for the Velodyne HDL-32 Sensor that will perform verification of all the client spatial datasets collected to validate relative accuracy of the system. In addition, Vieworx will integrate a Sequoia camera to the LiDAR mounted drone. Further a mobile application platform will be designed & build to view and analyze all the necessary or valued spatial data from the client’s mobile devices using the client specific GIS protocols. This will be very attractive to clients who do not have the capability to manipulate spatial data.

The objective of the project is to identify the challenges that Canpressco experiences in managing their production and supply chain and then evaluate and decide up on a suitable process and tools that will help the firm manage and grow their supply chain needs.

Surface Solutions Inc. (SSI) has created the design concept for a system to measure and data log methane emissions from gas well surface casing vents, well bore, and tanks.

This project will complete commercialization activities for the Basketball Training App and get it ready for public distribution via online App stores

Design a single module Air drill controller capable of variable rate, seed rate monitoring, basic sensor monitoring and cellular communication to a remote computer.

DTS will develop new product lines (5 Products) which will incorporate following innovations: lengthwise stretch, multi-colour base materials, new colours, stain resistance, and increased stiffness.x000D
These 5 new products have properties that are not presently available in the market place, and being requested by our customers. They will be patentable with patent application in process.

The Firm is developing a pharmacological therapy using drugs that target the alpha2beta2 subtype of nicotonic acetylcholine receptor to counter respiratory depression associated with opiates (e.g. fentanyl), propofol, alcohol, barbiturates, apnea of prematurity, obstructive and central sleep apnea, brain and spinal cord damage, and genetic disorders affecting breathing (e.g. Pompe Disease). They will perform a systematic series of pre-clinical studies using rodent models to determine the most effective candidate compounds to be tested in early stage clinical trials.
