To provide support to territories to innovate and transform their health care systems and ensure Northerners have access to the health care they need.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Louis Bull Tribe to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the assessment process for the Cando Sturgeon Rail Terminal West Expansion Project.

This project represents funds set aside for the technical assistance as part of the Energy Access Relief Fund (EARF) project. For administrative reasons, sometimes the funds identified for this purpose are included in the main project budget and sometimes, as in this case, they are assigned a separate project number.
The technical assistance component assists companies supported by the EARF Fund (which is funded by GAC through an operational repayable contribution). It seeks to improve and implement environmental, social management systems and create a baseline and benchmark of these systems to be used by the broader energy investment market.

The United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund in Kenya supports Kenya’s national priorities by using the combined and unique experience of various UN agencies to target vulnerable communities in Kenya. Canada’s support to the Fund will be directed to joint UN programming dedicated to gender equality, ending violence against women and girls, and human rights.

The project will ensure the principal engagement of women in the development and implementation of inclusive Local Resilience Plans (LRPs) to ensure their concerns are reflected in resilience-building measures. Targeted skills development for women will increase their adaptive capacity and resilience. The initiative will also advocate for national government institutions to recognize the unique challenges women and girls face in the face of adverse climate impacts.
