The College and Community Innovation Program (CCI) Program aims to increase innovation at the community and/or regional level by enabling Canadian colleges to increase their capacity to work with local companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It supports applied research and collaborations that facilitate commercialization, as well as technology transfer, adaptation and adoption of new technologies.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are:
• To provide recognition and funding to academic health research trainees;
• To provide a reliable supply of highly skilled and qualified researchers.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to:

• Strengthen integration, uptake, deployment and/or scale-up (spread) of evidence-based solutions: Improve existing programs, services, and/or models of care including equitable and inclusive access for diverse groups of people living with cognitive impairment and dementia, and for those that care for them.
• Build capacity: Strengthen implementation science approaches informed by intersectional equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) considerations among research teams, including early career researchers and knowledge users (i.e., PWLLE, decision makers), in cognitive impairment research.
• Spark interdisciplinary collaborations: Build partnerships and collaborations across sectors and jurisdictions, as appropriate, to co-develop and implement projects to contribute to a sustained and equitable impact beyond the duration of the grant.
• Foster knowledge mobilization and impact: Foster patient-oriented and integrated knowledge mobilization approaches and strategies throughout the research process to inform timely uptake and maximize research relevance and impact.

The ICS Program is designed to foster community development by providing grants and awards to individuals and organizations for the purposes of:

• Enabling research and knowledge translation activities where the circumstances fall outside of CIHR's current suite of funding programs.

• Supporting individuals and organizations whose goals are consistent with CIHR and its Institutes' vision, mandate and strategic directions.

The ICS Program is not intended to support the direct cost of research (e.g., pilot projects, feasibility studies or operating grants), principal and co-investigator salaries or research equipment.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to:
• Enable STBBI researchers to generate preliminary observations, data or knowledge necessary to pursue longer-term research funding in STBBI research;
• Support original, high quality STBBI projects and provide researchers the opportunity to pursue high risk health research questions which have the potential to generate novel, innovative and high impact results; and
• Stimulate innovation in STBBI research by promoting cross-disciplinary research collaborations between STBBI researchers and experts in other relevant fields in Canada.

The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to:
• Enable STBBI researchers to generate preliminary observations, data or knowledge necessary to pursue longer-term research funding in STBBI research;
