The project aims to enhance machine perception so it can reliably distinguish between an actual wildfire and harmless heat sources such as hot rocks, barbecues, hot tubs, or vehicles. Making this distinction is critical to ensure water or fire suppressant is applied only where needed, minimizing waste and preventing unnecessary damage.

Participation in the Canadian AI Manufacturing & Cleantech co-innovation mission to Japan – December 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to explore the Japanese market and to develop international partnerships and potential project ideas under the Japan Program. In Partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service Canadian Technology Accelerator (TCS CTA), the Canadian delegation will also receive support for their international business and market-entry strategies, as well as get introductions to other potential partners and clients during the mission. Firms will also be attending the Japan Innovation Leaders Summit (ILS).

Globalstars Taiwan- D.A.I.S. - Digital Asset Integrity Solution With Partner Earthbook (Taiwan) CTF-IRAP

Skygauge is going to create a comprehensive inspection visualization platform and digital twinning tool.

This project aims to help financial institutions integrate additional financial products, such as creditor insurance and business credit cards, directly into their existing small business lending workflows. By enabling this real time integration, the project will streamline the user experience, improve loan approval and product adoption rates, and reduce overall lending risk.

The firm will develop a digital therapeutic to improve outcomes for individuals with Persistent Depressive Disorder (PDD).

Perceptive Space Systems will train a youth hire to develop and validate novel methods for estimating the trajectories of low Earth orbit satellites. The project will prototype algorithms for sensor fusion, quality control, and orbit estimation, and evaluate them against open benchmarks. The work aims to improve accuracy and reliability for Canadian satellite operations.

BioAro is a Canadian AI-Biotech developing AI-guided Precision Medicine through multi-OMICS data analysis, including whole genome (WGS), exome (WES) & microbiome sequencing, cell-free DNA testing, epigenetics & transcriptomics. BioAro’s proprietary AI-driven analytics platform, PanOmiQ, processes this high-dimensional multi-OMICS data for actionable clinical output. These have helped commercialize the BioSport (high performance athletes), BioMYND (mental health) & Biogut (gut wellness & nutrition) programs.
