The project will develop three learning modules: in-person workshops, online modules, and a module designed for professionals and organizations, including those working with diverse groups.

The Central Okanagan Emergency Shelter Society will achieve this by expanding an early intervention youth learning program to prevent the impacts of gender-based and family violence and break the cycle of violence.

The Minerva Foundation for BC Women will achieve this by convening a youth advisory group, engaging partner organizations and by designing, developing, and delivering reciprocal learning sessions where participants will collaborate to address gendered attitudes that persist in the workplace and encourage women to seek and succeed in leadership.

In addition, the organization will learn more about existing resources in the province through meetings, research, and consultations.

To achieve this, the group will research and develop informative materials and learning tools, conduct participatory workshops in communities to support Inuit women's political and community engagement, and promote key events and opportunities for Qikiqtani Inuit women to get involved.

Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers within Financial Institutions’ (FI) lending systems for Women Business Owners (WBO) that need capital to start and grow businesses by consulting with WBOs to identify system level barriers, working with Fis to develop tools and best practices, hosting a conference for Fis to learn from the lived experience of community members for systemic change and supporting credit unions to implement changes to policies and procedures.

It will scale to a new community addressing the need for initiatives that support boys through safe spaces and social-emotional learning (SEL). To do so, it will implement a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum, train and support local facilitators, and establish a sustainable program infrastructure with local leadership, partnerships, evaluation systems, and risk management.

This will be achieved through a transition to a computer-based case management system, along with the creation of an enhanced communications strategy and language training to improve overall accessibility, and with the development of recreational opportunities for newcomer children to use technology when learning through play.

Identify locations of Birch and Medicine through the use of maps and community consultation and cultivate engagement through awareness within communities.

The project aims to develop linguistic and legal tools intended improving access to justice in both official languages in Quebec. The project will reach jurists, law students, translators and the general population who may be involved in the legal system but who do not have any formal training.
