Elementiam will create an industrial-scale automated multi-axis hybrid manufacturing machine called ISOTOPE for the automated inspection, welding, overlay and maintenance of large-scale non-critical equipment.

The purpose of this project is to develop technology for extending the capabilities of Adaptive Engineering Inc’s successful line of wheelchair lifts for the passenger railway industry. AEI’s Mobilift is the de facto standard for providing wheelchair access to trains in North America. This project will allow the firm to incorporate the latest developments in portable wheelchair lifting technology to meet evolving industry requirements.

CAMX Aerospace Holdings Ltd. aims to diversify by venturing into aeronautical parts manufacturing. Leveraging local expertise in mining manufacturing technologies, the company seeks to establish production facilities within its Greater Sudbury, Ontario operations. This new hire from one of Canada's largest manufacturers will allow CAMX to secure Transport Canada Approval and commence operations in this new sector.

The BPE technology is a novel, DNA plasmid backbone/production method that is ultra-low-cost, and has superior transfection efficiency. The technology has been demonstrated at lab scale (1.0 L fermentation), and needs to be scaled up to a commercially viable pilot scale to aid commercialization, and support projects to market the technology. This project ultimately scales up the process to 20-30 L fermentation along with associated downstream processes.

This project will include R&D related to the manufacturing of environmental access mats and nail-laminated timber (NLT) using industrial robotics and automation.

Vanmok, having validated its product and initiated revenue generation, aims to expand its Cloud leak detection software market beyond early adopters in North America. To achieve this, a strategic initiative is underway to establish a repeatable lead generation campaign and refine the sales process to be predictable and repeatable. The plan includes hiring a seasoned Business Development Manager with expertise in relationship building, partnerships, and Oil and Gas industry sales channels. The project's main objective is to quadruple Vanmok's business size within the next 2 years by developing critical skills in business development, partnership building, and customer management.

MBRP is a North American leader in performance exhaust but is investigating new product lines to design and market. These lines are primarily in the Powersports Segments and include but are not limited to products such as Window-frames, Window net-frames and speaker bars. MBRP now has the technology to produce these products and generate additional revenue streams. Considerable design time is needed to complete market research, feasibility studies, design, BOM creation and prepare for manufacturing.

Support for the technical team, which will be responsible for communication and on-board mechatronic systems.

The purpose of this project is to enable Cubbi to expand to new cities over the next 24 months through the deployment of new backend capabilities, products, and features.

This projects aims to develop and enhance two strategic parts of SSDL's technical capabilities in the Healthcare and Simulation/Training sectors.
