Through this 25-month project, the Saskatchewan Queer Mental Health Collective (SQMH) will build stronger capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. It will address strengthening their organizational structure by incorporating as a non-profit organization, connecting with Saskatchewan-based queer and trans mental health providers, and will increase awareness to 2SLGBTQ+ people across Saskatchewan about the importance of affordable, qualified and affirming mental health care in their province. The project will include developing a constitution and bylaws that reflect the collective's mission and improving the outreach and communication with queer and trans individuals across Saskatchewan, particularly in rural areas.

This project will engage with 2SLGBTQ+ mental health practitioners across Saskatchewan to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and enhance their collective capacity to support their members in addressing the mental health needs of individuals within the community.

Through this 28-month project, Friends of Ruby will build stronger capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. It will address employee work-life balance, supportive change management for effective use of technology, and build volunteer engagement. The project will include multiple technology upgrades to build technology capacity for growing agency demands, ensuring data security across all technology upgrades, and build online website processes to enhance volunteer recruitment and engagement .

Through this 28-month project, Rainbow Community Places will build stronger capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. It will address the need to increase organizational governance structures and planning to provide structured programs for intergenerational members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community to address issues specific to the community and related health, safety, and social issues. The project will include capacity building for organizational decision making, strategic planning and financial management to support the development of tools and resources to effectively manage and maintain staff and volunteers and to increase collaboration with other 2SLGBTQI+ organizations and community resources.

Through this 16-month project, Rainbow Universel will strengthen the capacity of its organization and of 2SLGBTQI+ community networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. The project will foster collaboration between the organization and the community and develop the necessary foundation for good governance. The project will include activities to secure non-profit status, grow members’ skills in leadership and good governance, and expand the organization’s network to establish partnerships across multiple networks and sectors.

Through this 28-month project, Divers-Gens will strengthen the capacity and networks of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. The project will address matters related to the organization’s financial health, human resources management, strategic planning, and skills development. The project will include strategic planning and creating knowledge transfer documents.

Through this 28-month project, Columbia Valley Pride will build stronger capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. It will address the capacity and sustainability needs of the organization through a funding strategy, accounting infrastructure, community consultation, and strategic planning. These activities will directly impact the programs, services, education and engagement of the 2SLGBTQI+ community and non 2SLGBTQI+ community through the Columbia Valley. The project will include creating a strong plan for financial sustainability, a theory of change and strategic plan, and an opportunity for consultation with the community to align our programs, events, and educational efforts. This project has the opportunity to give the working board the resources and capacity to accelerate the impact and work of the organization in a timely and strategic process.

Through this 28-month project, the Centre de solidarité lesbienne (CSL) will
strengthen the capacity and networks of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations to
promote equality for 2SLGBTQI+ people. It will address identified gaps in inclusion
for people at the intersections of multiple forms of oppression, particularly racialized,
immigrant, disabled, and gender-diverse LGBTQI+ women and other people. The
CSL will also seek to better support the response team who works with these
communities on a daily basis. The project will include an overhaul of internal policies
and procedures, activities to support the response team, and strategic planning that
reflects the diversity of LGBTQI+ people.
