The youth to be hired will have his/her prime focus to learn the QWave production process, the manufacture and/or procurement of individual components and how these components are assembled in the next higher assembly.

The Youth candidate will be responsible for learning the existing product electronics and migrate the design to the PSoc 6 chip set.

INVRS has the tools and data that one needs to learn (you wouldn't teach someone to be a carpenter without giving them access to a hammer and saw) as well as educational courses, games and investment competitions.

Knowledge mobilization products will be tailored for rural public audiences through the Neighbours, Friends and Families (NFF) infrastructure; for family law professionals through the Family Violence, Family Law (FVFL) Awareness to Action partnerships; for communities of practice and knowledge mobilization networks; and for GBV service providers through Canada’s leading knowledge mobilization resource for this sector, the Learning Network (LN).

1.) include obtaining flood mapping for three additional northern communities (one being the First nation to be completed by the Saskatchewan government) to provide further learning outcomes for government. As a precursor to the flood mapping, bathymetry data will be collected under a discrete contract which will be a new procurement experience for the initiative; 2.) conduct further technical review of the hydraulic models developed in the 2019-2020 NDMP funded project to bring these to finalization for extension to the communities; and 3.) complete a meta-study and comparative program analysis of Canadian jurisdictions with conclusions and recommendation for the application to the Saskatchewan context for development and implementation of a comprehensive long-term flood mitigation program.

In addition, a network of stakeholders, employers and Métis women in business will participate through targeted outreach for job-matching, and learning and skills-building sessions with participating women.

Activities include a healing tree component that focuses on cultural learnings, understanding impacts of identity, belonging and matriarchal traditions.

This will be achieved through creating partnerships, establishing an advisory committee, conducting a needs analysis among immigrant women, analyzing partner organizations’ client reception and services, and implementing strategies for adapting services in the area and sharing lessons learned. A Gender-Based Analysis Plus consultant will take part in various stages of the project, and an external evaluation will measure and assess the impact of this systemic change project.

Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers within the Toronto District School Board (TDSB): by 1) identifying barriers for immigrant mothers to influence decision-making policies and/or practices at the TDSB using a gender-based analysis; 2) identifying actionable recommendations to remove those barriers; 3) developing and implementing a community mobilization strategy; 4) advocating for the adoption of policy and/or practice recommendations at the TDSB; and 5) disseminating project learnings through filming and documentation. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.

This will be achieved by developing continuous learning tools for governance and human resources ; creating a strategic plan and communication tools; creating a funding diversification strategy; and sharing best practices in order to strengthen the sector.
