We propose a new approach to automated test scoring that combines recent advances in large language models (LLMs) with traditional clear-box ML approaches. We will use an LLM-as-a-judge framework in association with a rubric of scoring elements (developed in consultation with subject matter experts) to classify responses on the basis of these scoring elements. The LLM will also provide its reasoning for these decisions. We will then construct clear-box ML models that combine these scoring elements extracted from the responses into a single numeric score.

Metasurfaces, with their compact size and broadband performance, are poised to revolutionize optics industries, however, the lack of accessible fabrication services hinders their widespread adoption. We plan to bridge this gap by adding a dedicated metasurfaces option to our NanoSOI™ foundry, which is utilized by leading companies in quantum computing (QC), artificial intelligence (AI), LIDAR, and sensing.

With improved performance we believe we can achieve improved air quality with smaller systems, thus decreasing the upfront cost to our customer and increasing wide scale adoption.

We are developing an AI system that users to easily create expressive, coherent music.

Since there have been no significant changes in our manufacturing processes or raw materials, we hypothesize that the issue stems from secondary reactions occurring when the product interacts with specific soils or materials under particular environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity.

This phase builds on our earlier success in AI-based bandwidth improvement by shifting focus to real-world application and commercialization. We will rigorously test and validate our AI algorithms using large-scale, real 2D and 3D seismic datasets from diverse geological environments, ensuring robustness, scalability, and generalizability.

We are building a full suite of tools for lawyers to make the process from research to writing 10x faster. The way we are going to do this is by building our TOA builder first, which solves an immediate and compelling problem for lawyers. Once we build confidence that we can execute in this way, we will be able to sell our research memo builder and drafting board to our larger clients.
