The Private Sector Financing Programme (PSFP) aims to support rural people to overcome poverty and achieve food security by supporting sustainable, and resilient livelihoods. The PSFP focuses on catalyzing greater private sector investments to support and benefit small producers and rural micro, small and medium enterprises in local agri-food systems. The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) manages the PSFP .

Project activities include: (1) addressing bottlenecks in underserved value chains; (2) increasing market participation through small producers’ aggregation (3) creating more resilient value chains (4) promoting the adoption of digital innovations that improve value chain efficiency, transparency, sustainability, and resilience.

The recently launched Euclid Space Telescope will observe billions of galaxies across 10 billion years of Cosmic history to build a 3-dimensional map of a third of the sky. This will allow us to trace the formation and growth of the earliest supermassive black holes and their impact on the lives of galaxies. This project will enable Canada to utilize Euclid's extraordinary dataset to search for the origin of supermassive black holes and reveal the evolution of galaxies and their stars, while building the necessary expertise for Canada to lead its own wide field missions in the next decade.

Following the JWST ERS and Cycle 2 GO Announcement of Opportunity published on July 6, 2023, the CSA is providing funding via a Grant Agreement to the university to conduct their research using the JWST data.

This project will extract emission line maps from JWST/NIRISS data to produce a publicly available catalog which will then be used to analyze the spatial distribution of star formation within galaxies at Cosmic Noon. These emission line maps detail where emission line fluxes originate from within galaxies and contain information about the chemical abundances, distribution of dust, ages of the stellar populations, and the rate of star formation. This project is part of the OutThere survey, and alongside other data from the survey will further our understanding of how galaxies grow and evolve.

The objective of this Project is capacity building activities that build knowledge and skills related to renewable energy and grid modernization projects in Canada.

This project builds upon a 2019-2020 digitization project by the Walpole Island Heritage Centre, and it aims to digitize existing documentary heritage related to our Anishinaabe language and culture held by the Heritage Centre and other Walpole Island First Nation departments and programs. The project's main goals are to establish a community resource for language and cultural heritage digitization, digitize 100s of physical documents, maps, language resource/education materials, 1000s of photographs, and over 200 analogue recordings create descriptive metadata to aid greater access to discovery by community members, devise and enact a preservation strategy for digitized materials and develop and launch a content management system (CMS) for accessibility.

This grant will support costs associated with additional training opportunities for Elders, mentors, and mediators, specifically for members who sit on the tribunal board for the program.

The Translating Gladue: Making Gladue Principles More Accessible in French Project will support the printing and distribution of seven existing Gladue publications that were translated into French (which includes; Gladue Report Guide, Gladue Submission Guide, Gladue at Bail and Sentencing, Gladue and You, Guide for the Legal Review of Gladue Reports, Best Practices for Writing Gladue Reports and Understanding Gladue Principles, and A Second Chance). The project will improve access to justice by making quality resources on Gladue accessible to French speaking Indigenous peoples, front line workers, Indigenous Courtworkers and other legal professionals including lawyers, judges and advocates across Canada.
